FSX airliner with 100% buttons working?

For some people systems realism is more important than visual realism. For those people the Maddog is an excellent choice of addon. It is in fact my favorite addon for FSX

Ohhhh, too bad..not my type of Aircraft, then. I love a well modeled a/c; however, good looks is very, very important...If not I would still be flying in FS 2002 ?

I dunno, looks decent to me. The 2D panels are superb even.

Edit: Doh, Google search failed me at first, fixed.

That is not the Maddog tho, I believe that's some sort of DC-9. There are screenshots of the Maddog on http://www.flythemaddog.com/screenshots.php

The night lighting you see on those screenshots are the default night light. There's a mod available that greatly enhances the night lights, it looks like this

I think the coolsky DC-9 would suit your needs. You can even turn on the breakers so they have a green light under them for an added effect and even work when you pull one out. This is now my favorite aiplane and I will never regret buying it. It was a pain to get the hidef panels working but once I found the post in there forums it was simple. It comes with a little window to aid those that can't fly the wires and it will teach you how. Truly a work of art when you get the Mcphat paints. Love the plane and the support that you find in the forums for it. Give it a go, I don't think you will be sorry. Nuff said, Cpt out.

Best Regards,

Would love a decent B747 Classic for FSX. I read in another forum there was one being developed, but there have been no further updates.

I really don't care about every button being functional, but it would be nice if it at least was clickable. I heard from some devs though that adding animation to all buttons would drain resources.

Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!

This topic is a bit confusing for me. Almost all of the airplanes I have, have upwards of 90% of buttons and switches functional. You will see this universally on most all of the good payware these days. As pointed out, some of them even have working cricuit breakers. I doubt that anything has a full 100%, especially if you count stuff that is really unimportant, but what kind of airliners are you flying that only have 50% buttons and switches working? Are you talking about the Microsoft ones that come with FSX?

You'd need a Cray to run a vc with all buttons (and fuses) working, you wouldn't be happy with the framerates either.

ATC: Yeah, it's OK. He's not hungry.

Really? What information have you got on this?

Even with all the processing power and memory in the world, FSX would simply not be able to support it in its current state.

We tried adding all the switches to the Concorde-X VC, and FSX just grinded to a halt. It's a shame ACES never got around to issuing a patch for the memory issues within FSX.
