Guys, you never know if we get enough support, PMDG may reconsider.

PMDG already said that the comunity that participate in this forum is just a very small portion of their total amout of customers, so whatever the result is it won't change anything. It may even reinforce their decision on not to revisit the MD-11.

The issue is PMDG can spend there time making aircraft which will sell better then the MD-11. They still have to finish the 747x and then they can make a 787 which will sell more then a MD-11. You have to look at it from a business point of view.

I won't vote, because while I would buy a updated MD-11 I would prefer they put that effort into a new aircraft like the 787 after the 747 V2.

You have more of a chance of a weather radar then a MD-11 upgrade.

Just accept it and move on.  The sales figures count, not forum posts or random OMG KONY click like to save the world facebook propaganda.

No. The MD-11 still has pretty good graphics and the systems are top-notch. Besides, PMDG is finishing off the 777, then they have the second NGX Expansion, then they have the DC-6B, THEN they have the 747 V2, THEN they have the Dash 8. That's at least 3 years IMO.

Thanks,

I think the Md11 is quite good [heck I still like the 747 VC, it's only the displays that show its true age].

So I don't think its necessary right now to touch it. They may in the future, who knows.

I am satisfied with the current md 11!

an update depends on the customer preferences (Graphics or systems), I feel that PMDG customers focus more on systems and dynamics more than how an aircraft looks. So having (learning) a new aircraft will add more value to the knowledge base we have, and the list is long (787, Embraers "170/190", airbuses and bombardiers).

I voted yes as I am an unconditional fan of this plane, but the result of the poll (globally 50/50) unfortunately again proves that PMDG is totally right about the MD11's unability to be commercially successful.

Even if we had more than 75% of yes on this (which would mean 75% of an already poor amount of initial sales) I believe that wouldn't be enough to change PMDG's opinion on the matter, which is totally understandable.
