April 2, 201313 yr I am looking to add KDEN to my FSX airports. The only pay ware version I can find is Imaginesim. If there is anyone who has this version of KDEN, I would appreciate their input on this add on. Thanks, Rick.. Rick Hobbs
April 2, 201313 yr It's OK. I'd say a 7 on a scale of 10. The only real game in town. April 2, 201313 yr I have it and I like it. Haven't flown through there since I added Traffic X so I should put it on a route soon. April 2, 201313 yr It's as good as it needs to be, and excellent on frame-rates. I'd say go and buy it. No it's not, Imaginesim KDEN has been know to be poor on frame rates because ImagineSim KDEN was originally for FS9, which means that it contains old FS9 legacy code. It will actually perform SLOWER in FSX, than lets say, FSDT CYVR, because it wasn't ported with backwards compatibility for FS9.
April 2, 201313 yr I agree with Marcielli I have bought it too since I am based in Denver and have odd issues with it, over all its good but not great and being the only one outhtere I guess its better then nothing. frame rates are not great if you use pmdg or any advanced planes to fly in out or if you have AI traffic. another odd issue not sure if its just me but floating runways drives me crazy and don't know what the deal is. to improve frame rates I had to rename few BGL files to disable like tons of baggage carts etc.but over all not bad product. April 2, 201313 yr Yeah I'm going to agree with Marcielli I bought three (Atlanta, Charlotte, and DC) ImagineSim products for my FSX and all three are really bad on framerate that I uninstalled all three of them...wish I could have gotten a refund...but will not buy there products again. -Ray
April 2, 201313 yr Author Thanks all for the feedback, greatly appreciated. amalishkin, I am not exactly software savy, so could you tell me what BGL files i should remove and where they are, as i think i will try this add on (being as it's the only act in town). Thanks again, Rick Hobbs
April 2, 201313 yr I have a system similar to the OP and I don't have frame rate issues with KDEN. If you have an addon traffic program, don't run Airlines at 100%. You should be fine then.

Thanks for the heads up, but i actually wouldn't mind knowing how to get rid of some of the airport vehicles that are added along with these add on airports, for instance, i have flightbeam's KSFO which is excellent, except for all of those added vehicles that get in the way of my GSX vehicles. There are also moving vehicles that drive through my aircraft and the GSX vehicles sometimes. Regards, Rick Hobbs
April 2, 201313 yr I fly into and out of Imaginesim's FSX KDEN all the time and have had no framerate issues. Wayne KlocknerUnited Virtual

Well you certainly can't say you have "issues", because the frames won't go below 20, but the frames certainly won't go much higher. As I've said, because of the old fs9 legacy code, lets say, compared to Fsdreamteam's CYVR, your frames will be much higher regarding the level of complexity containing up to date native FSX code.
April 2, 201313 yr I've been a loyal ImagineSim customer, but FPS in FSX are not impressive, compared to other developers. I hope they work on that as they update their products.
