May 8, 201313 yr Commercial Member I think he meant vdev green dot. Hey Joshua, Do you mind sending me a referance to VDEV green dot? I had a look through my docs last night and couldn't pull anything up. I also searched the web and the term was only used by Aerosoft. Many Thanks Rob Prest
May 8, 201313 yr I too will need to see if managed VNAV is fixed. It was really bad. J.C. you are going back to FSX? Well, I was, until yesterday I got my first CTD when programming the AXE MCDU :-/ In an instant (I'm this fast at installing / uninstalling sims...) I wipped FSX Gold from my disk (again). I never had a CTD with LM prepar3d ! Tonight I'll re-install LM P3d... I will have to stay away from using CumulusX! though, but heck! I'll have this great Airbus to play with :-), and the PMDG 737 NGX also works great! Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
May 8, 201313 yr I made 2 quick flights on my test pattern last night. It starts from EDDK's RWY 32R into the COL1B departure and goes directly into the GULK1C STAR followed by the ILS approach into 32R again. I do that circuit with every new release, because it can be flown within approximately 20 minutes and more or less all the A/P and FMC/FMGC capabilities can be tested. The AXE V1.1 showed the T/C on the ND but on the first flight, the T/D showed up 3-4 miles in front of the T/C (usually, depending weight, performance and CRZ alt, there ought to be 15-20 nm between these two points), and on the second flight it didn't show up at all. When I hit the alt knob, the green dot appeared and the plane began to descend, but without a real profile and without taking care of the ALT constraints. Not to nice...

Well if you reported this on the Aerosoft Forum, I would have tried to help you.... I don't want this thread to become a support thread. May 8, 201313 yr Hi Rob, I am not too sure what reference do you need ? PM me. Hi Joshua, Could you also send that reference onto me if that's okay? I also have never heard of VDEV Green Dot and am curious. Is it a recent addition to new Airbuses? Regards, Ró. Rónán O Cadhain.
May 8, 201313 yr Commercial Member Hi Joshua, Could you also send that reference onto me if that's okay? I also have never heard of VDEV Green Dot and am curious. Is it a recent addition to new Airbuses? Regards, Ró. It simply means this: at the 8:30 min marker. Instead of the usual pink circle, the newer buses have the green dot. Joshua C. WSSS
May 8, 201313 yr Ah, very good, learn something new everyday... Do you know when they changed over to green and the logic behind it? Regards, Ró. Rónán O Cadhain.
