Waiting for the PMDG T7 to be released so I can stop visiting inane threads.  :-P

Well to be fair, the title of the thread made it pretty clear it was "one of those threads" so why torture youtself by visiting it!

I can't vote, I'm just awaiting as eagerly for both as they will both be incredibly deep simulations, of very different aircrafts.

well i better like the look of the 777 an no it´s not because it´s the latest graffic quality. But i better like a mashine whit only 2 ENG and then the 747 have never been my favor plane i got it but never said much to me mabe why i only flew it a few times... i dont know but 747 as well as A340, A380 never said me much they are just to big..

Aside from the 747 being the best looking Commercial bird ever, the only time it is big is when it is on the ground. Do a few searches on pilot reports. Once in the air it has feather light controls that are perfectly balanced. More than one pilot has reported that it just does not feel like a "Jumbo Jet" and the landings are a joy. The 737NG still has trouble trying to train pilots to land without the flare. Go spotting. A perfect 737NG landing is about 50%. A lot of them are a pretty hard hit. Not sure on the 777.

Thanks,

Neither. I'm waiting for the DC-6 and it being absent from this poll makes me sad. :(

I really want the 777 and the 747. 777 because... it's just such a nice plane.

747 because of QF25 and WorldFlight. (Actually what I -Really- want is the Aerowinx PSX simulator released and then a few years to pass so that the WorldFlight simulator can be updated with all the awesome hardware the owner has planned for it like individual circuit breakers that work and all kinds of crazy awesome detail).

Not particularly interested in the DC6, but I'll be buying it anyway because... PMDG. If PMDG make it, I'll buy it. I currently don't have any use for such an aircraft in my Vatsim activities, but I know that if it's PMDG quality, it'll be worth it.

Looking forward to a lot of things that we will see this year. These include the 777, 747v2, FSDT KIAH, Orbx Ireland and Global and UK2000 v3. Exciting times for me but not for the bank!

747v2 this year is pretttttyy optimistic! Never know though - since it's probably more simple to develop than the 777!

I would have to guess we'll see the 744v2 first quarter next year.  I'm really curious what PMDG will tackle once the 777, 744v2 and DC-6 are completed.  Whatever it is, it's sure to be golden!!

I'm waiting for the 777, 747-400v2, and whatever PMDG will make after that. Even though I got my preferences, I'd probably buy every aircraft they make. I'd do anything for a 747classic, but any other Boeing or MD aircraft will be great.

Not excited for either as I like short haul hops around Europe! FSL A320, FSDG Prague, FTX Global and the fancy flight planner that I keep seeing mentioned, and I'll be happy!

I could have sworn I was the only FSX user on the whole of Avsim (and possibly the only person in this universe) that was totally unarsed about either PMDG's 747v2 or 777! Much like yourself, I don't do longhaul because it bores me to tears  I just hope the FSL A320 will be out soon, I need my Airbus fix

I don't like the longhaul flight's either. Even on flight's of an hour or so I tend to get bored. So that makes 3! That's why my 744 and 777 will only fly short haul. I really don't care wheter it's unrealistic. Only fun thing about flying is the preparation till takeoff, and from approach till touchdown..

I did use to fly some widebodies on certain short haul routes (such as Frankfurt to London) as that was somewhat realistic (BA used 767s on this route and LH had A300s) but since that time my typical sector has got even shorter (all under 2 hours and 350 nm now).

Unlike yourself, I'm not willing to operate widebodies on unrealistic legs so I don't have much scope to use them, and I'm not prepared to spend PMDG amounts of time on money on widebody aircraft I will barely use, no matter how good they are.

I may be interested in PMDG's DC-6 though, depending how much they charge for it. I just find smaller aircraft more fun, I don't think I've flown any jets for 3 or 4 months now, so much more to do on propliners, which means much more fun for me (the banner below my signature probably says it all)!
