June 15, 201312 yr Hello, i was wondering, if PMDG have any recommendation as for which ENB to use with the NGX, I'm really starting to like the ENB/SWEETFX/FXAA color correction. Cheers. Daniel choen
June 15, 201312 yr I would like to also know, currently using the one Nick (AOA) uses. Any better / newer one currently out? -Sean L PPL + IFR, SEL HP/Complex.. LAS WN Ground Ops
June 15, 201312 yr I'd really like to know how you guy's get any ENB/Sweetfx to work. Tried countless of times to get them to work, read all the tutorials, but no luck
June 15, 201312 yr I have never seen ENB work with the ngx, just give SWEETFX a try plenty of info here on it. Rich Sennett
June 15, 201312 yr I found a nice one here the other day. However, it does make the flight deck a hair too dark in daylight if you're not facing the sun. You'll always need the panel lights on - but, that's actually a somewhat realistic feature. I can remember it being dark in various flight decks, when it's a nice day outside. I'm still debating with myself if I want to keep using or not... Here it is if you want to try it though: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/409867-guys-do-you-have-interest-in-this-set-of-sky-textures-for-using-with-enb-series-warn-heavy-topic/ - Luke Pabari
June 16, 201312 yr On the REX forums you can find very cool ENB mods also. However, only for REX users. Joona Väisänen
June 16, 201312 yr Commercial Member I don't use any of this stuff - causes too much instability in my experience. We've had a lot of weird stuff at support that was resolved by removing dll injection things like these. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

Ryan, you are right, it can cause issues on some rigs, but for some else it can work incredibly well, after loads of testing I can really say that the ENB from Gabriel works superbly, it adds so much, very important for night and day as well. cheers. The below worked form me: 1- download ENB from http://www.realenvironmentxtreme.com/forums/index.php?/topic/15329-24-hour-enb-download-included/ 2- open the folder and copy all the files to Microsoft Flight Simulator X main folder. 3- Start FSX and once you are ready to fly press Shift + F12 to enable or disable. Thats all. Regards X-Plane11 GTX1070 8GB Vram - i7 4770K cpu @3.5GHz Quad core - 16GB RAM

We've had a lot of weird stuff at support that was resolved by removing dll injection things like these. Same here, iv tried them all and it does some weird things to my FSX and makes it unstable. (yet to try shade) Im sticking till tuning my screen to get cool effects.... no CTD or frame rate loss this way! I love the look of it, but I prefer a stable sim big time.
June 16, 201312 yr Hi. But hey, domelight is there to help Eric Eric van Dorp
June 16, 201312 yr I haven't had any kind of problems with ENB modes. No CTDs or anything. I've been using an ENB mod for a year now and I wouldn't fly FS for a minute without it. I feel that it is absolutely the most important feature that you can install in addition to REX to make FSX look perfect. The good thing is that it's got only 2-3 files that you can just delete if you get problems. This is actually the first time I read anyone having CTDs or else with enbs. Joona Väisänen
