Dear PMDG:  please ignore cries for 2d panels...they are a thing of the past.

 

Completely agree. The only plan I fly in 2d panels is the PMDG 744 (the VC is not great - reflective of the era though).

Please understand, that I will not give you a detailed description about the progress. We are making progress and have just finished version 0.1 - but there is no need to ask for a release date. It's done when it's done. :wink:

Does the 777 have popup displays for the PFD and ND?   I don't want 2D panels but I would like to dock the popup PFD and ND displays to a 2nd monitor (like I can with the 737NGX).

Yes, we've said that many times. 2D popups for all the displays, the CDUs, the MCP, radios etc are there.

Please understand that I do not intend to be rude, but I noticed that you came at me with a very scolding and dismissive post in this thread- only to turn your subsequent follow up posts into what is essentially "marketing" for a project you are working on- and some ideas you have.

I am a huge fan of VATSIM and the entire VATSIM concept- (one of these days I actually want to try it...) so please understand that I do not wish to squash your enthusiasm, but I must ask you to keep your marketing posts for other locations.

 

Nobody from VATSIM has reached out to us regarding any interface- but obviously we will look forward to that happening when the time is right. 

 

The PMDG forum is for all of us to discuss PMDG products- and we aren't even technically allowed to allow our partner developers to market here.  (AVSim's rules)  So these rules, combined with the fact that the sum of your activity seems to be directed toward attracting attention to your own project by pimping to our audience, I must ask that you limit your activities here to the purpose of this forum.
