October 27, 201312 yr Commercial Member Thanks Scott! I can foresee myself logging some serious hours on this bird. B) Thank you and your team for bringing us this classic! If you're interested we've posted the first of a few small preview clips of the DC-8 up on our Facebook page this evening, ahead of the imminent release. www.facebook.com/justflight
October 28, 201312 yr Commercial Member Looks and sounds incredible Scott! Thank you. Look out for another one going up later today.
October 28, 201312 yr Commercial Member Amazing, I will be on this one!!! Thank you. A second preview video was posted a little earlier too if you've not seen it already.
October 29, 201312 yr Wow, this bird looks just awesome... I will be definitely getting it. With CS 707, this and JF Tristar I think I will expand my virtual airline operations somewhere in Africa where you could expect to see some older equipment still in use. Do you, or anyone, have some scenery recommendations for Africa ? I dont need to be pointed to South Africa, nor the up north since they are easy to be found, but somewhere in the center ?

October 29, 201312 yr A little known fact is the DC-8 is one of only 3 airliners to ever go supersonic on purpose. The others were concord and the TU-144. They did it in a dive but it reached mach 1.01 and held together ATP MEL,CFI,CFII,MEI. Type Ratings B-737, ERJ-190,ERJ-170

October 29, 201312 yr Commercial Member Off topic but can you provide an update on the progress of the 1.5v of the 747 classic? Hi there I said I'd enquire about this for you and I have. Reckon it's going to be ready for release in November. Probably back end of November but the finishing line is in sight I can assure you. Look out for more definitive news on our website/Newsletter etc and I'll do my best to remember to come back here and let you know as soon as I get a date for this.

Well there's Orientalsim Nairobi which is okay in my opinion, you can get it from Simmarket. Other than that there's not much quality scenery available, one developer is apparently planning to do airports in Comoros islands. Maybe if I find good enough data I might do some African airport in the future.
October 29, 201312 yr If the cockpit night lighting is good, I may pick this one up. By good, I mean that you can have backlit gauges without the overhead lights. If cockpit lighting has only two options - on and off - it is a no go for me. MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition; Windows 11 Pro, I9-9900k; Asus Maximus XI Hero; Asus TUF RTX3080TI; 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR4 3600; 2X Samsung 1TB 970EVO; NZXT Kraken X63; Seasonic Prime PX-1000, LG 48" C1 Series OLED, Honeycomb Yoke & TQ, CH Rudder Pedals, Logitech G13 Gamepad

October 30, 201312 yr I'm very interested in this one. Selling point for me is going to be accurate flying characteristics. Mitchell Haughee
