Latest settings. I completely disabled both street and intersection lights in UTX and this thing looks a monster now, whoa. First I disabled street lights in UTX and the intersection lights were way overpowering mixed in with FTXG, there were these red spots all over Chicago that looked horrible. I see that FTXG is also producing intersection lights and it's not as overpowering as UTX's. I'm digging this. I'm off to bed, more testing tomorrow.

What Im most concerned about with this, and Im sure alot of other people are as well, but how is the performance??

why are you sitting at 3.4ghz? overclock it to 4.4 if you have a good card. edit..you have a good card

Mine is a i5 -2500k overclocked to 4.4 and eats ORBX with full sliders and autogen 1 notch from full

It'll run fine, I have lower specs and it works well.

Thanks for the reply, how well do the textures load for you?? Do you have trouble with blurry textures?? I know that they have alot of photoreal in this addon, so what does that do, if anything to the autogen? I think I run my autogen setting at normal. 

 

Also, can someone post some pictures of the arizona area? Like phoenix or yuma. Im curious to see what the differences/improvements are to that area, cause thats where I live. lol

Disable the custom landclass (row houses, industrial, container yards etc) and that will take care of it.    Of course you won't have those UTX special features anymore, but hopefully ORBX can do something about that in the future.

 

It looks absolutely brilliant without those UTX textures mucking up the place

google your mother board on you tube with overclock. These days most have auto settings and a bit of guidance and you unleash the power. You may need it if you buy this and want to fly payware as well

Molleh took the first shots, I went and took some on my non-Global system with UTX.

Installed and all is ok, EXCEPT night lightings during the day : I mean, everything is ok with night lighting during the night (far better than UTX ones), but during the day, each and every light spot shows as a black bitmap on the ground. Compatibility problem using DX10, or some other install/param problem ?

Probably doesn't work right with DX10. Steve's upcoming patch may fix it.
