MILVIZ 732 RELEASED!

Featured Replies

Eaglesoft's version.

Ok,

I am new user of Aerosoft NavdataPro and I had an error because I needed to re-download cycle 8 before adding the Citation for update to my hard drive.

So now, in a effort to get the Milviz the current Navdata cycle (25/JUL/2013 - 21/AUG/2013).

Some background information.

*****

I do not own Eaglesoft CitationX Jet.

I do not use Navigraph Navdata.

I had to switch to Aerosoft NavdataPro because of iFly737 initial RNP navigation navdata support only with Aerosoft Navdata.

After I switched .. some months later Navigraph then supported iFly RNP navigation (a bit of confusion on supported features of iFly737NG!).

****

Anyway ... I want to get Eaglesoft CitationX Jet Navdata Cycle 8 (Valid (from/to): 25/JUL/2013 - 21/AUG/2013) from Aerosoft NavdataPro into the folder MilViz uses for Navdata which I learned from the Milvis support forum is, on my PC: C:\Users\vaughan\AppData\Roaming\Navdata

I created a folder for F:\Eaglesoft which I am going to download/install Eaglesoft Navdata file(s) into.

After the download I now have one file called nd.mdb (155,028KB) and one called cyc_info.txt.

Is this the correct data file for Milviz use?

Is it the only file I need ... I will copy it to C:\Users\vaughan\AppData\Roaming\Navdata (path on my PC).

Or did I download the wrong aircraft from Aerosoft NavdataPro?

I ask because I noticed the Milviz Navdata folder contains many files (screenshot).

Here the file is dated 10-17-2007. But the cycle date on the FMC is 31July13?

The nd.mdb is the only file you need. The other .ndb files represent the FS database that David created for use of the UNS-1Fw FMS.

Ok,

Then chances are I have the correct file from NavDataPro (cycle 8).

I used the file in Milviz737.

No errors observer in the MV737 FMC CDU operation for power on self tests / startup.

However, the newly installed cycle date is still 31July13.

Is this supposed to change with each new cycle?

To clarify, just got off the phone with Colin.

The Navigraph DB under Eaglesoft name was created and formatted specifically for Eaglesoft and installs where Eaglesoft requested those updates to update for Eaglesoft products.

David Drouin coded the Pro line 21 and UNS1 for our CJ1+ 2.0 Project and it appears the communication was lost at some point between Eaglesoft and Milviz as to proprietary use.

Colin assures me this will be addressed by Milviz by end of business today.

I downloaded the new manuals ZIP.

Is it only one manual that changed (but old and new are both 19 pages long) and old one is much bigger file size?

All others are same date/size.

I looked back through the posts but somehow missed what this is fixing ...???

For those of you with creation errors see below:

We have a viable solution for the problem! Simply add the sound module in the 2d panel entry of both panel.cfg files:

Code:

Where?

Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

Speaking of where, where are we supposed to buy this thing? I heard it was Flight1 but its not there. Milvis site doesn't have a download page.

Don't think it's available yet

Thanks. Looks like they're dealing with lots of problems with the pre order folks. Probably best to wait a while anyway.

Todd.  I can't and won't (sorry) speak to removing our hard work and very nicely done external model for someone else'.  Nope.  Will NOT.  You takes your chances.  I won't comment further on this so please, don't ask.

Why on earth would anyone want to do something like this.  The Milviz exterior is simply beautiful and couldn't be more realistic, and their interior is just jaw-dropping.  I love the looks of this aircraft, all around.

Maybe because someone just wants to put the -200 Advanced exterior, but that seems silly.

I don't think so.  i'm not seeing anything significant.  Just a little drama. Downloaded the manuals.  I can see that Milviz hit this one out of the park.  Congratulations on creating this work of art and your many many months of hard work and coding (I couldn't do it).  I will be buying as soon as it's out.  What time is that again?  8 pm EST?

That's the time. Thanks for the kind words.

My brother once bought a brand new car and did so many modifications to it that it was hardly recognizable 2 years later.  Needless to say the car practically fell apart after a few years due to all the needless and restless and useless tinkering done to it to make a perfectly fine product "better".

Emailed you once yesterday and once today so far... no reply. Dying to spend my money! Don't you want it? :P
