July 30, 201312 yr Commercial Member Also downloaded and flew, however just did a very quick circuit. First impressions, sound set is simply amazing, i will even say maybe the best ive heard. I cranked up my speakers, and truly felt like i was in the cockpit. The engine sounds on take are especially impressive. FDE is very nice, hand flies like a dream. FPS seemed good, on par with the majestic q400 and a tad higher than the 737NGX. My only gripe, actually its not really a gripe, just a request. It would be great if PDCS could be added in the future, and possibly the -200ADV, or even just the regular -200..pretty please!! Really glad you're enjoying her. I remember the first time I heard the sound set, and like you, cranked up my speakers! We'll look at all your requests in the future, I promise. For now, we all just need to take a break Regards, Diego
July 30, 201312 yr Moderator Help it......I just purchased it, but I can't start the engines despite following Milviz' checklist for cold/dark (posted in this thread)?! For some strange reason the menu manager's setting to "ready for takeoff" still puts me into cold/dark. I'm pretty familiar with starting Boeings, old birds like this, but for some reason I can't get this one started. Any help would be greatly appreciated. July 30, 201312 yr Pete, I had the same problem - then remembered my default settings in Simlauncher were for cold and dark... so if you're using P3D and Simlauncher - check that first!
July 30, 201312 yr I left a message on the Milviz forums, have not got a response, but I need to return the plane. Gave it a fair shake, not for me. Todd Fleck

I believe you need to submit a ticket on Flight1's website, they process payments (and so refunds) so I doubt you'd be able to do it directly through Milviz. Luke Harvest

You do not need to repeat yourself as such, especially with such unsupported rhetoric. BTW, I have no association with MilViz and have previously been a vocal critic on two GA models. In regard to this new model, I am deep in reading the manuals and nowhere near ready to evaluate flight or operational characteristics. All my time so far has been spent in the cockpit, learning. There may be a lesson there! Fair is fair !!! July 30, 201312 yr What unsupported rhetoric? keep reading, it will serve you well. Perhaps if you did some reading you'd have quickly worked out how to return the product without needing to waste time posting on Milviz's website and posting here? Luke Harvest
July 30, 201312 yr My time is my own, up to me to decide whether is is "wasted" or not. F1 does not make it readily apparent as to the process... considering I have never returned anything. And I will not send a "ticket" for a refund. I will wait until tomorrow when I can type to someone via chat. Only way to ensure what I am asking is being taken care of then and now. Todd Fleck

July 30, 201312 yr Todd, it is clear you are frustrated at the plane, but please don't make too big a deal about having to submit a ticket. It's really not as painful a process as you are making it sound.
