July 30, 201312 yr That settles that! Now does anyone have it and can give us some real feedback that we haven't gotten in the first 12 pages of this thread?
July 30, 201312 yr I have it, have flown a couple of circuits with far more to come. It is not an NGX, it is the original version of the 737. It is short, stumpy, round, noisy, with classic PW JT8s that respond just as you would expect, very slow! I really enjoyed it! The sound set is terrific, the frame rate is very very good and it does what it says it does. I need to dive into the manuals and get ready for some proper flights. This birdie is waiting for me! July 30, 201312 yr Looks like I gotta crack open the manual, can't get her fired up using the 800 procedures. Alex Jevdic KORD/KHOT/KPWKA<380 love at first flight
July 30, 201312 yr After an initial flight, LFBO (France VFR) - EGBB with Opus weather, Truescape France landclass and FTX Global it all came together and was magical, awesome immersion and FPS was good, sound amazing. Documentation is great, most of it Boeing it looks like and the tutorials are to come. If you want a comparison for me it would be the same feeling as in the Simcheck A300B4, you don't get the failure depth of the NGX or an A2A aircraft but you get an awesome and deep environment to fly in. Is it worth it? OMG yes! There are some issues for some people, personally am debugging one that stops me flying again but this is a pre order release and Milviz are great guys so don't sweat it, you'll likely be fine and if not it'll be fixed soon. I'm very happy with this plane and Milviz look to be on my auto buy list from now on.
July 30, 201312 yr I find it addictive. Just the sound keeps calling me back into the cockpit. :blink2: Robert Yunque PilotEdge Ratings = CAT-11 (2016-09-13) I-11 (2016-10-23) V-3 (2016-08-01)
July 30, 201312 yr Commercial Member I find it addictive. Just the sound keeps calling me back into the cockpit. Same here, I just couldn't stop loading Milviz 737 again and again to fly it around in various locations although I had no time to do a complete flight. What a great aircraft.
July 30, 201312 yr How's the ability to map keyboard commands or buttons to hardware? I know you tend to ignore my posts (I'm probably on your ignore list ) but on the off chance you do read this; I asked the same question earlier in the thread, and Jonathan (one of the developers) kindly PM'd me to explain that he is currently in the process of setting up key assignments and hardware integration, and that it will be added to the product once completed. Hope that helps.
July 30, 201312 yr ok, am loving flying this bird...tried the FMS for the first time...I updated the Nav Cycle and changed the selection from FSX to NavData...all good. I can load entire flight plans no problems, but when I press MENU, then DEPART to select the SID, it lists the departure airport but no Runways or SIDS, there is no list to select from. However, if I go to "DATA", then NAVDATA and SID, I can easily select the SID, airport, runway, transition, etc. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks in advance Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict

Thanks in advance Just to verify .. after getting new Navdata .. did you shut down FSX and then restart FSX? Then reload MV737. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
July 30, 201312 yr Yup, even rebooted the PC twice. I must be doing something wrong, this is the only part I can't figure out, everything else has been a breeze, really good fun. Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
July 30, 201312 yr Disregard, I worked it out. The flight plans I am imported were created by FSBUILD, for some reason it didn't recognise the departure aerodrome. If I overwrite the departure aerodrome using the LIST feature or even typing it in fmc, it works perfectly. Am very happy now! Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
July 30, 201312 yr There are a couple of things that are bugging me but maybe they shouldn't. So I'll ask for some clarification: 1. With the SP77 config, I didn't expect the plane to level off on its own once set altitude was reached. 2. With either config (FMS or not) when changing the altitude, the airplane starts to climb/descend at + or - 800. Is this correct. Jim Shield Cybersecurity Specialist
July 30, 201312 yr What's all the commotion about the model variant? It's a -200C. If you need a -200, just leave the cargo door alone. The only real artistic license I can spot would be the window forward of the cargo door, which is one too many. But considering that there are 328732874294732 possible configurations for a -200, I'm not even sure about that. And considering that an Advanced model is basically "just" a modded inboard flap, engine nacelle and FDE mod away, there might be a slight chance that MV is nice enough to do one after all the bug fixes - provided you're asking nicely. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
July 30, 201312 yr There are a couple of things that are bugging me but maybe they shouldn't. So I'll ask for some clarification: 1. With the SP77 config, I didn't expect the plane to level off on its own once set altitude was reached. This suggests the AP is using default FSX Autopilot code, where a climb or descent will always level out once a selected altitude is reached. (Even if a plane does not have visible alt selection, this behaviour will still apply, where the default FSX autopilot is used). If that is the case, I would actually be pleased, because ;- On the rare occasions I fly planes with APs that don't have Alt Preselect, I always shoot my altitude! (oops) If this is the case, the standard FSX AP key assignments will work
