September 2, 201312 yr It take 2 minutes to install ONE of them yes, far more effort when you have a bunch to do. And let's face it, there's always a bunch to do. Exactly. I don't have time to mess around with this stuff. I just wanna fly. September 2, 201312 yr Commercial Member Same for me. While it's nice to have an updated schedule, it would be even better to get updated, 2013 liveries and models as a one click installer. The original UT2 doesn't even have 787 or 748. Michael A2A Simulations
September 2, 201312 yr Have to say I agree. One, I can't be arsed registering at the forum just to buy it. Could they make it any more difficult to actually purchase? Just give me a one-click installer, new paints, new planes, updated schedules. I will pay ££££ for this. One thing developers are still forgetting is that the community is becoming increasingly intolerant of stuff that isn't user-friendly. 'I just want to fly' should be the mantra stapled to every developer's forehead. People will pay for convenience. I don't want to be editing cfg files, copying paints, faffing around. Annoying.

September 2, 201312 yr Commercial Member I think Mytraffic is the solution for those who can't bother installing a lot of paints manually, I spent hours and hours replacing all the Daedalus of UT2 with proper paints...
September 2, 201312 yr I have always been reluctant to purchase any schedule updates for UT2. I have done far too much work adding airlines and planes to risk messing it all up installing the latest traffic database. Whilst it would be nice to have the very latest schedules, it really isn't a priority for me. As for adding new paints and planes, it takes a lot longer than two minutes. For a start, you have to find the ones that you want! I should know, because I have done a lot of this over the past two or three years....and I am only interested in airlines that fly to and from the UK! I dread to think of the amount of work that you globe trotters have to do  On a side note, there is one plane that is really puzzling me at the moment. It is a Daedalus 777 that always appears on a Wednesday at EGBB Birmingham. The strange part of this tale is that I always have Daedalus planes disabled. I have seen several other examples of this phenomenon, and it is extremely annoying. If I disable the Daedalus planes, then I do not expect to see any......EVER. I have a suspicion that it might be a PIA 777, but I have disabled Pakistan International Airlines in the original UT2 database, and added my own repaints. They are working, because I have seen them elsewhere. However....and this is another little bug that annoys me.....when I check the repaints, the original UT2 paints are included, even though I removed them before saving the new assignments. It seems that sometimes this works, and sometimes it doesn't. I also have a theory that if the original UT2 paints are still listed (but the airline has been disabled in the database), this could result in a Daedalus paint being used. That is the only reason I can come up with regarding Daedalus planes being displayed at all when they aren't even enabled..... ** wanders off, grumbling and muttering to himself ** Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
September 3, 201312 yr So did it add new airlines?? Yes, am at work at the moment so can't cite any examples that I remember other than Hunnu Air of Mongolia, but there are many others. As is stated on the UT2 forums, there appear to be a few problems with this release, some of which I've noted myself. I always wonder just how much testing is done on these UT2 schedules as really noticeable incorrect things get through. Having said that, I did buy it as soon as it was available - just hope that an update might fix the issues. May all your landings be safe ones! Hugh Costello - NZWN
September 3, 201312 yr Thanks Hugh for the info, Please do post here if they fix their bugs Cheers Josh Cliff
September 3, 201312 yr Problems, eh? As usual, I'll wait until it's ironed out before I decide to buy. September 4, 201312 yr I think Mytraffic is the solution for those who can't bother installing a lot of paints manually, I spent hours and hours replacing all the Daedalus of UT2 with proper paints... I second that. Ultimate Traffic with MyTraffic Professional models is a great combination. Don't forget to backup the assignments though after days of work! ;-) Andreas Paul

The original UT2 doesn't even have 787 or 748. This. I love the product, I just wish the developer was more considerate to his customers and provided user friendly update environment and was more involved in product updates in general. I also don't have time to search half of the interwebs for AI friendly models and paints, I just want to fly. Jacek G. September 4, 201312 yr Could anyone confirm if United's 747's are gone entirely from ORD? I'd really appreciate it. Jacek G. Ryzen 5800X3D | Asus RTX4090 OC | 64gb DDR4 3600 | Asus ROG Strix X570E | HX1000w | Fractal Design Torrent RGB | AOC AGON 49' Curved QHD |
September 15, 201312 yr Could anyone confirm if United's 747's are gone entirely from ORD? I'd really appreciate it. I think currently there are none, they are all out of KSFO to make it easier for maintenance. I did read a few weeks ago, they are planning on bring them back to ORD by the end of the year, or early next. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
