This is serious! You could make your GPU decay a lot faster due to this bug.

Hmm. Just tried it out, not recording in windowed mode still for FSX, and also the aspect ratio is now completely out of wack. It appears to be recording 9:16 instead of 16:9...

I've yet to get this to work w/ FSX or Prepar3D 1.4.. Must be a Windows 8 thing.. Works fine for every other game from Kerbal to Assassins Creed 4.. Anything ESP related it's a no go..

ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING / i9-9900k @ 4.7 all cores w/ NOCTUA NH-D15S / 2080ti / 32GB G.Skill 3200 RIPJAWS / 1TB Evo SSD / 500GB Evo SSD /  2x 3TB HDD / CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X / IPSG 850W 80+ PLATINUM / Dual 4k Monitors

If anyone else can test this new version in FSX I would love to know if it's recording the wonky resolution for you also.

After some testing, it appears ShadowPlay 1.8 doesn't play nicely with super sample antialiasing anymore. Once I turned that off in Nvidia Inspector, recording is back to normal.  Guess I'll just have to remember to turn that off whenever I'm recording FSX.

I tried this over the weekend and it worked incredibly well. Almost too well. I couldn't tell if it was recording or not and I ended up losing track if it was currently recording. I ended up with an hour and a half of recordings and never even knew it. Sure can't say that about Fraps. You definitely know when that is recording.

Hmm, I installed it just now and it pops the dreaded 'encountered an error and must close' error msg.. damn it. Anyone knows how to get around it? I have the latest beta driver installed. I already ran DDU to remove all nvidia related apps and drivers and did a clean install. Didn't help.. some culprit within GFE.

This is an automatic message.

Yes I get a tall, narrow recording recording that is nothing like my screen's aspect ratio.

EDIT: Tried playing it in VLC player which let me change the aspect ratio and it looks OK.

Hummm....(updated to latest ver 1.8) (in full screen mode) ....

Has anyone encountered this: Records ok until u open the ATC window.

The recorder indicator is still visible (no change, no down arrow),  but the recorder has stopped recording.

It then re-starts recording after I close ATC window.

( I must say that it did record with the ATC window open once, but I don't recall doing anything differently...)
