South Americans pimp them up somewhat but an 'N' reg or a 'G' reg.... Anyway, this one caught my eye: These are the only two pictures I could find. January 27, 201412 yr Author Is there a way to make the green a bit more metallic? Yeah, that caused me no end of trouble. First, I wasn't really sure the real one has metallic paint. Secondly and more importantly, my attempts at metallic weren't that convincing. So I opted for plain paint. Another, more gifted painter could have done it, but not me. :( Ryan, I think LeeL can help there. Actually, I flew N8UR from Duluth to KARV this evening. January 27, 201412 yr Metallic: The way Ive been doing it; using layers, I create a "spackle" with whatever the color of the metallic is supposed to be. This should be the "top" layer, or last paint you lay down. Isolate this layer, and turn it "negative". This will turn all the spackles black. Add this now negative layer to the "alpha" channel, and combine. Wha-la... Metalic paint.
