FSTramp is a fully integrated plug-in for Flight Simulator. The program is activated with Ctrl+F12. Pressing this Hotkey makes Flight Simulator change its face to become FSTramp. At the same time all Flight Simulator functions continue normally. In the alternative display mode FSTramp is a separate window, that can be positioned freely anywhere.
For display of the world map FSTramp uses your own Flight Simulator scenery data. Addon scenery which has been added to your scenery library, is also displayed on the world map.

Some sort of moving map / safe taxi / waypoint / approach info thingy?

I prefer PlanG and it's freeware.

It is basically FSNav, so it runs within FSX/P3D as a module.

Back in the day FSNav was probably one of the most used flight planners/moving maps.

These days I prefer FSCommander over the network but for those without multiple monitors or networked machines this latest version of FSNav can be called up by pressing F12 without leaving the sim.

We must be running short of FlightSim Names.

As an FS9 tragic (still) and exploring P3Dv2 I am delighted to find that my old friend, and comfort, has been updated ... visually.  I now feel totally at home.  ^_^  And who cares about the current lack of flight planning.  I run PFPX these days.

On their site for downloading they mentioned;

The next version will include the flight planner.

Odd name but I'm really glad to see FSNav make a comeback. I've missed that add-on all these years. 

Is it the same developer that did FSNav?

I took a look (trial mode) using it in FSX acceleration first.

 

Looks real good.

 

Easy to use.

 

Works very well in P3D V2.2 also.

 

Got the Navigraph Navdata downloaded and installed ... no problems there either.

 

Anybody know if they charge for version updates?
