April 15, 201412 yr Author From the link: What it is: FSTramp is a fully integrated plug-in for Flight Simulator. The program is activated with Ctrl+F12. Pressing this Hotkey makes Flight Simulator change its face to become FSTramp. At the same time all Flight Simulator functions continue normally. In the alternative display mode FSTramp is a separate window, that can be positioned freely anywhere. For display of the world map FSTramp uses your own Flight Simulator scenery data. Addon scenery which has been added to your scenery library, is also displayed on the world map. Features: Integrated Module for FSX and/or Prepar3D v2. Updated data for waypoints, airways and IFR airport procedures (SIDs, STARs, Approaches). For the cyclic update compatible FMS data are available at Navigraph. Navigational Map. World-wide Search & Find function for Airports and Navigational Aids. Autopilot frontend for comfortable operation. Display for AI- and Multiplayer-Aircraft. Automatically flies flight planned routes and holdings. Philip Manhart :American Flag: - "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." ~ Plato
April 15, 201412 yr Some sort of moving map / safe taxi / waypoint / approach info thingy? Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090

April 15, 201412 yr It is basically FSNav, so it runs within FSX/P3D as a module. Back in the day FSNav was probably one of the most used flight planners/moving maps. These days I prefer FSCommander over the network but for those without multiple monitors or networked machines this latest version of FSNav can be called up by pressing F12 without leaving the sim.
April 15, 201412 yr Whats up with the name....I was like....hmm.... How I Evaluate Third Party Sim Addon Developers Refined P3Dv5.0 HF2 Settings Part1 (has MaddogX) and older thread Part 2 (has PMDG 747)
April 16, 201412 yr Back in the day FSNav was probably one of the most used flight planners/moving maps As an FS9 tragic (still) and exploring P3Dv2 I am delighted to find that my old friend, and comfort, has been updated ... visually. I now feel totally at home. ^_^ And who cares about the current lack of flight planning. I run PFPX these days.
April 16, 201412 yr On their site for downloading they mentioned; The next version will include the flight planner. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
April 16, 201412 yr Odd name but I'm really glad to see FSNav make a comeback. I've missed that add-on all these years.
April 16, 201412 yr Is it the same developer that did FSNav? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
April 16, 201412 yr I took a look (trial mode) using it in FSX acceleration first. Looks real good. Easy to use. Works very well in P3D V2.2 also. Got the Navigraph Navdata downloaded and installed ... no problems there either. Anybody know if they charge for version updates? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
