April 22, 201412 yr Direct install, pointing to the Prepar3d folder, and it works like a charm, with all the benefits of running it on the much more stable and smooth P3Dv2.2 platform :-) Another one in my hangar - next is the Q400 ;-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
April 22, 201412 yr I've found that the gear and flap sounds are missing in my P3Dv2.2 install. Everything else however works like a charm as far as I can tell.
April 22, 201412 yr I agree, but the only feature that doesn't work is that if I make any changes to the config file, such as the window transparency, they will NOT save. Does this work for you? April 22, 201412 yr Author Yes, just tested with the window reflections, and it saves the setting. BTW: thx for the hint, because I never used that and I will set all graphics sugar off for even better performance :-) One question: How did you install it? In my case: 1) I did not have FSX or other previous version of p3d installed ( had been wipped fro my disk ) when I installed p3dv2.2 full; 2) I used the registry fixer to set the FSX env variables to the p3d folder 3) created a dummy FSX.exe ( actually a copy of Prepar3d.exe... ) When I started the installer it automatically identified the correct p3dv2 folder, just as with a2a's c172, and, so I hope, with the Majestic q400 when I try to install it latter today ... April 22, 201412 yr Shame that Realair can't be bothered to make a P3D v2 installer. I'd pay them an upgrade fee for the effort. Got all their aircraft, but all are parked since I don't use FS2004 and FSX anymore. Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!

Even better if you no longer have fs2004 and fsx installed. Just use the registry fixer ( not EMT ), and create a dummy fsx.exe in the prepar3d folder. Yeah, I know, but I, like most simmers, would like something that didn't need a tweak, dummy file or registry fix. I've moved on to P3D to not have to tweak I got the aircraft installed allright, but I never got the configurator working properly, so I uninstalled it. April 22, 201412 yr It really is sweet. Couldn't agree more. But flap and gear sounds are missing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
April 22, 201412 yr The Real Air aircraft install fine using the Estonia migration tool and run extremely well in Prepar3d.
April 23, 201412 yr Commercial Member I do not either the Duke or a Real Air product, but would purchase if they made it for P3D. I had a Real Air plane in FS9 and really enjoyed it. REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations

April 23, 201412 yr I've been disappointed in Real Air's lack of support for P3D, but the plane does work pretty well without an update
