June 11, 201411 yr I love the idea, and I really can't wait to try it out on my system, then probably forget about it forever. I'm not sure if my machine can handle it. I have some concerns though. The main one is the look of the above screenshots doesn't scream PMDG to me. Maybe it's the colour or the shading of the brown bars separating each cam, or it's how the main gear cams look too askew, or how the cams display doesn't quite fit in the screen. I know it's a WIP. I'm just worrying that some people might activate the feature and be really disappointed with it, and it may leave a bad taste in their mouth for PMDG. Will this feature be PMDG quality come release?

Its because it was probably a cropped screen shot, we all know PMDG wont release something like that, also take into consideration that the frames you see in that screenshot is it is on that screen Marius Scheepers Wannabe Pilot
June 12, 201411 yr Sorry if this has been covered before, but the taxi cams are only viewable as a 2D pop-up, correct? Just wondering and great job! Mark Javornik

June 12, 201411 yr The taxi cams eat up a lot of frames too. If you use EZdok, it's much more efficient to set up exterior cameras that are in the same positions as the real thing. AJ Pongress
July 1, 201411 yr don't wait for it all  Just checked and that's how it works on the PMDG version as well. And because I know someone will ask.
July 1, 201411 yr Cameras are confirmed. Lights are confirmed. You can stop the trolling now. Beste, Jan Siebert
July 2, 201411 yr Troll question 773 only? Or we getting this in the 772 SP1 as well? MSI Codex 5 10SC-262UK Desktop PC - Intel Core i7-10700, RTX 2060 Graphics, 16GB RAM, 2TB HDD, 256GB SSD.
July 2, 201411 yr Commercial Member Troll question 773 only? Or we getting this in the 772 SP1 as well? The 772 doesn't have cameras, so it doesn't need the lights, so...no. Kyle Rodgers
July 2, 201411 yr PMDG has always had a fantastic custom lighting solution for the NGX and LRX. Is anyone able to say whether the 77W will feature the ground maneuvering camera system lighting? Example - http://www.airliners.net/photo/Air-China/Boeing-777-39L-ER/2423905/L/ Thanks! Be careful with airliners.net links, I'm pretty sure they aren't allowed to be linked here. Craig, that's what it actually looks like on the real screen (that's a real photo above) and we created our version of it based on high res photos of the actual display. Why jump to the conclusion that we've half-assed something like that instead of looking it up? Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

I'm sure some of the Beta Testers' screenshots have looked just about the same! July 2, 201411 yr Quite correct. I was always surprised at how, well, "FSX-default" the REAL WORLD taxi cam display looked on the T7. PMDG models the real world, so we get this slightly unpolished looking screen, as it is on a real 77W. Wes Meyer
