I love the PMDG Ops Center. I think it's an incredible and revolutionary tool that will no doubt be continued to be updated in line with all of the upcoming projects.

 

However, I hope maybe there's been some updates to come along with SP1/-300. If so, can any of it be shared?

Version 1.7 will be released as a standalone download at the time SP1 and the 300ER come out.

 

Major features/changes include:

 

- Livery Downloader modules for the NGX and J41

- The OC's handling of huge amounts of installed liveries (we had a user at support with over 1400 NGX liveries installed) was upgraded and it shouldn't slow down or crash anymore

- A Sound Settings module was added for the 777 which lets you switch between the standard higher fidelity engine soundset and the new alternate set which is lower fidelity but works with 5.1 systems

- Addition of the new SP1 options to the 777 Aircraft Specific Settings module

- Fully supports the 300ER and automatically handles copying the necessary livery textures to the PMDG 777-GMC folder (which is the partial external model that gets spawned and used for the ground movement cameras)

- Documentation can now be updated similar to how liveries are (allows us to make fixes to the Intro or Tutorials, add the second Tutorial etc without waiting for a new SP to come out)

- Fixes for a couple more rare CTDs and errors that were found since 1.6's release

 

A much bigger (2.0 probably) OC update will be coming after this that's going to enable Steam-style live updating of the products themselves and a public beta "channel" that you can subscribe your install to if you'd like to fly with the very latest stuff before we've officially released it.

That is really great news Ryan.  I can FINALLY get something at the same time Luke Pabari does :lol:   Think I may go out and buy myself a PMDG beta tester polo shirt B)

To be clear, it's probably not going to be literally 100% the same thing our beta testers are getting at all times - we'll verify that we've got a stable build with no ridiculously serious issues etc. first most likely. It also, of course, is only going to apply to service packs post-RTM release - we aren't saying we're going to do public betas of pre-release products or anything like that. Basically the goal here is to give people who are willing to put up with potential beta issues a way to get some fixes to things quicker than what's ensued over the past 9 months with the 777.

I have about 7 liveries which the OC doesn't like.
