Not trying to hijack the thread here, but hoping to get some assistance from the folks here that my be able to help me sort out what is going on after my recent GTN update. Here is a link to my post over at the official forums outlining everything. I spent 6 fruitless hours today trying to make it work again, but to no avail.

Flight1 is working with you on this.  I am sure they will get it fixed - suggest you keep us up to date on progress, in the FSX forum.. ^_^

Yes sir, we are in contact and working to resolve the bug. Best customer support I have experienced yet in the industry.

 

Oops on the wrong forum. I was frustrated, super tired, and grasping at straws. Saw a similar problem and grabbed a hold. Will post results in the FSX forums.

Was just testing out the GTN 750 in A2A Cherokee and I keep finding more very nice features (one of these days I'll read the manual) ... the descent rate calculator.

 

I still can't say enough good things about this GTN 750.

OBS mode is also amazing for basically making a VOR out of any fix or waypoint. Almost like a localiser at any airport.

Yep it's handy..  The "old" RXP stuff had that as well.

You can install it into any aircraft in your library as a 2D pop-up. In order to have it appear in a 3D aircraft VC panel, the aircraft will need to have its panel graphics specifically setup for it. This has already been done for several popular payware add-ons like the RealAir Duke series, among others.

I bought the gtn 750 yesterday and put it in a a2a Cherokee. Tried to set up a flight in Houston. kdwh  texxn ally rjaay kgls. those are fixes and the data base said they do not exist.

To me the data base is incomplete. How do i set up a flight guessing on way points. Maby i am doing something wrong any body else have that problem.

I have sent in a ticket about it but probably wont here back till Monday.
