Are you suggesting that in the avatar mode I can walk through an airport scenery, go through immigration, meet and brief my multi-player crew staff members, have a briefing meeting with first officer and second officer, perform walk around and walk into the captain's seat of my 777 aircraft ????

That was mentioned in the announcement page as well. Though I think it's weird that they're listing Windows 7 as the recommended OS. Does anyone know why? Maybe due to potential incompatibilities with add-ons, or are there still issues with Windows 8.1/10?

 

I was in Avatar mode, which is why there was no eletric system.

Are you able to listen to ATC in avatar mode? That would come in handy for plane spotting.

Really nice; clean and minimal just how I like a UI .

Thats really cool Brandon.  Does make you think though, if there's an option to dress your Avatar how you see fit,  Hot day, shorts, shades,  Cold day woolly jumper and hat,  the possibilities of immersion are endless.   Love the ATC window

I wonder if that avatar is somehow locked or linked to the aircraft...? I mean, you load a plane and then you can switch to the avatar right away or does the plane have to support this? Obviously things like opening the fuel tank and things like that will have to be implemented by the aircraft developers... I just wonder how these things are related to each other and if such an avatar would work right away with for instance an A2A plane.

Avatar is not connected to the aircraft. Technically you could fly an aircraft to an airport, park it, exit as an avatar, walk over to another aircraft parked at the airport, climb into it and fly away.

I'm more of the ones-ey kind of guy in the winter time!!
