November 15, 201510 yr I know at least at American the nose wheel taxi lights were unreliable. They had some last as few as two flights. They are retrofitting LED taxi lights in the nose gear. Tom Landry
November 15, 201510 yr Those screens looks sooo sexy... PMDG... Time for update?? Also since we are on topic of possible new content any chance for 737-700C version? Really missing a cargo in the 737 lineup (that main cargo door or the lack of it makes the whole difference )It would be a great adittion to the 600/700 expansion. Paul Grochowski Pawel Grochowski
November 15, 201510 yr Moderator Not signing is not offensive, it's just a rule we all have to comply with. I suppose Jim was pointing out that it's not applied uniformly. Some regular posters never get called on it.Exactly.The people who cry about signatures are the online version of the people who shout "On Guard!" whenever someone transmits on 121.5.Maybe in some cases but not the case for me. If we have a rule to start with, then Kyle asks for the rule to be compiled with and it's not, which was the case at first with Spin737 and Moosehead, then it bothers me because I view it as being disrespectful to the host. That's all, nothing else. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

Paul Grochowski I think if they were to do the MAX, it would either be a whole new product or a paid expansion pack. There are the BBJ versions to think about as well, and the -900ER. Would be nice to see this as the next project after the 747v2 is all done. Wes Meyer

As for BBJ do they have some specifics in fuselage apart from some of them (that's what I've read) having larger wing? In avsim library you can use keyword "pmdg business" and you get nice BBJ repaints from 600 to 900 Pawel Grochowski

You wouldn't notice a difference externally. For PMDG, it would involve modelling the aux fuel tanks etc etc, not so much changes on the external model. Wes Meyer

February 10, 201610 yr Commercial Member They look like they bought them from Airbus. The fuel switches are actually the same type as those used on the 777 and 747. Kyle Rodgers
February 11, 201610 yr Hi guys, Flew one of our new deliveries today with all the new bits attatched, rolled out of Renton less than a month ago! I was going to show you the pics in a new topic but I can already see the post has been resurected!Compass Swing 15th Jan 2016New Start LeversNew WX Radar. Boeing have also replaced the R/T - I/C, MASK - BOOM and ALT/NORM switches, they're a lot thicker and less prone to snapping! The new WX RADAR map function is extremely accurate at differentiating between land and sea, for those in the UK you can clearly see the Isle of Wight depicted on the WX RadarThere's several other minor changes, all of which have pretty much been mentioned. The LED exterior lighting is considerably better then Halogen but I'm not really in a position to take photos whilst flaring/taxying!The aircraft is also considerably lighter, almost 700kg with an APS (Basic Weight) of 41.8T (Our fleet average is 42.5T). We have the new Boeing Sky Interior fitted to our aircraft but I can't say if the entire weight saving is from that or whether they've lightened up parts within the aircraft, interesting none the less!Hope you guys enjoyed.
