September 14, 20169 yr So there are 2 of us that don't check our fps, with you cant see the point of it Add me to the list. Since switching off the FPS counter, the obsession with numbers has disappeared. As long as its smooth, I'm good.

September 14, 20169 yr I won't get it. I think other places like Italy are far more interesting (but i am biased) and offers a higher variability of landscapes Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."
September 14, 20169 yr However, as a matter of fact a majority voted for Germany. Obviously they had a reason to do so, whichever. September 14, 20169 yr Yeah, it's pretty flat, have to wait for German South that's where all the mountains are :-) I'm just hoping they will make Denmark at some point (even though it's just as flat as NGEN), but would be nice to fill out the gap between Germany and Norway. And the fact that I live in Denmark haven't got anything to do with it Jorn Lundtoft I don't always stop and look at airplanes.........Oh wait, Yes I do. If however FTX Denmark will ever get there, I will get it and also Germany! Add Sweden to the bunch and I'll be very happy!
September 14, 20169 yr Now we get crazy for mountains. ORBX made two sceneries of NZ which certainly features some spectacular mountains in the North Island as well as in the South Island. The scenery itself is nothing but excellent (as I can confirm) and certainly not worse than their AU region pack. And, according to ORBX, sold bad. Kind regards, Michael Intel i7-13700K / AsRock Z790 / Crucial 32 GB DDR 5 / ASUS RTX 4080OC 16GB / BeQuiet ATX 1000W / WD m.2 NVMe 2TB (System) / WD m.2 NVMe 4 TB (MSFS) / WD HDD 10 TB / XTOP+Saitek hardware panel / LG 34UM95 3440 x 1440 / HP Reverb 1 (2160x2160 per eye) / Win 11
September 14, 20169 yr I really hope ORBX will start focusing on some Asian regions soon. Why is there hardly any scenery for that region? September 14, 20169 yr I can only tell you the official reasoning: Small user base and pirating. Although I'm not sure this is a compelling argument. Kind regards, Michael Intel i7-13700K / AsRock Z790 / Crucial 32 GB DDR 5 / ASUS RTX 4080OC 16GB / BeQuiet ATX 1000W / WD m.2 NVMe 2TB (System) / WD m.2 NVMe 4 TB (MSFS) / WD HDD 10 TB / XTOP+Saitek hardware panel / LG 34UM95 3440 x 1440 / HP Reverb 1 (2160x2160 per eye) / Win 11
September 14, 20169 yr In the end it's all a matter of money. Well, mostly. FTX Norway was a surprising choice for that matter. For which I am very grateful because I'd been wanting good Norway scenery for ages and I have been flying over there and nowhere else since it has been released. I can only tell you the official reasoning: Small user base and pirating. Although I'm not sure this is a compelling argument. Kind regards, Michael It's a valid argument anyway. I've been to Thailand once and was utterly surprised to see lots of regular shops in big malls, so nothing shady or hidden, where they actually sold pirated software. All the latest games and programs for all consoles and PC for just a few bucks including copied covers. This would be totally impossible in my home country. And rightly so.
September 14, 20169 yr Nice addition this FTX GEN. Amazing performance for now around Hamborg including Aerosofts EDDH. Quite easy to achieve 30fps with A2A Comanche 250 in 4k with a single GTX970 in use. Have maxed out most but Autogen one notch down. P3DV3.3.5 Michael Moe Michael Moe
September 14, 20169 yr So does Aerosofts EDDH work in P3D or does it need some migration tool? Jorn Lundtoft I don't always stop and look at airplanes.........Oh wait, Yes I do. September 15, 20169 yr So does Aerosofts EDDH work in P3D or does it need some migration tool? It works. All I had to do was placing it manually over the FTX region in the scenery lib because the parking spots weren't right anylonger.
