January 21, 20179 yr After my first flight with the 320 for P3D i couldn't be more satisfied. A truly living, breathing machine. Took off from EDDM as CFG456 to GCLA, with the 320 using only the VC and 2048 pixel textures from installation. EDDM is Taxi2Gate, GCLA is Aerosoft. In the way i have Spain photoscenery, Portugal Photoscenery (my own work) plus many airports in Germany, if not all, a ton more in Italy, Spain and everything in Portugal, LSZH and LSGG by FSDreamTeam, ... you know, really tons of stuff i flew over during the flight. Oh, i have every ORBX region active, VECTOR (carefully configured so i don't have all those secondary roads and smaller rivers) and the freeware global mesh available here at AVSIM. My P3D configurations aren't conservative. I have LOD 7.5 (don't know if over 6.5 really does anything), all terrain sliders to max, shadows to max, reflections in most objects, AS16 and ASCA, 100mi cloud distance, 2048 pixel textures, etc. On EDDM ground i have around 45 - 50 fps in the cockpit, during most of the flight and approach, 60 steady. It looked like a movie, i was stunned all the way, mostly with the superb behaviour of the 320. I have been simming since 2006 and i have never seen anything like it. Truth must be said, it's the only aircraft i flew for real in the cockpit a few times, so... The dreaded VAS talk... Well, no issues and i honestly expected this. On ground at EDDM i had 1.1GB free which cleared a bit during cruise to around 1.3-1.35 then lowered again on approach to 1.0. I have made this flight dozens of times with the A320 from Aerosoft and all i can get is around 150-200MB more memory. I only have one word for this new A320: Flawless. Thank you FSL. January 21, 20179 yr Commercial Member Forget Eula this isn't a debate, this is Merely European law and point of sale - if you are not informed at point of sale it doesn't stand for anything as it's based on consumer information provided when entering a payment/ purchasing decision. But you are informed - or you can request that information before buying. The law does not protect you from buying something based on assumption instead of information. Sure, the seller has to present AGB and licensing information before you buy, and if he doesn't, then don't buy from him and send his number to the authorities (which is not the police in this case). And what do you suppose that store tells the next customer who is interested in that jacket? "Oh, by the way, that jacket has already been out with five other customers before you. But only a couple of hours each" Stores cannot afford constant refunds unless they have massive revenue margins. In the end, insisting on this practice would leave only the biggest retailers in play, who don't mind if they sell you something new or used, as long as the financial balance sheet works out. January 21, 20179 yr Can you post your settings? I'm having so much problems it's difficult to belive. Yes Nuno, please do that - I have to decide! What version of P3D are you running ? Do you think my old i5 2500, GTX 960 4 GB will do the job? What are, IYO the main advantages over FSX, for someone who, just like me, isn't interested in ** any ** sort of shadows ? January 21, 20179 yr PMDG set the standard of gouging P3D users! Can see the bias few posts down... Obviously an FSLabs customer....each to their own I suppose. MSI Codex 5 10SC-262UK Desktop PC - Intel Core i7-10700, RTX 2060 Graphics, 16GB RAM, 2TB HDD, 256GB SSD.
January 21, 20179 yr One more question: does FSLabs A320 change somewhere P3D settings when installing ? i deleted FSL A320 completely and my sim is not as smooth as before. I deleted already cfg and let it rebuild, no change...
January 21, 20179 yr You cannot say things like that!!!!!! some people here are calling it all the names under the sun and dont even own it. There comments are shamefull Lol Do you have AI traffic on? No, and that might be the problem with some users. I have no Traffic AI addons (only the default at 20% cars, 15% boats and 15% ferries). I fly online exclusively and the traffic i see are the occasional pilots that are in the same airport. I also don't use GSX or similar, no EZDok or similar and no FS2Crew or similar. I am using AS2016 and ASCA. Okay a few answers for the rest: P3D 3.4, so the latest version. Core i7 6700k 4.8GHz, DDR4 3600 and a 980Ti. My drives are PCIe SSDs but that doesn't interfere with memory. I can post screenshots of my settings later on, it's nothing special really and even with FSX a few years back i never had any problems with the NGX when it was out and so many people complained.
