January 23, 20179 yr Before you buy, do some searches on how do I turn on the fans for the ASUS Strix GTX 1080. Thousands of people asking but ROG and ROG members are just asking about the temps and when you tell them 95 degrees they just say, RMA!! There are no directions that come with the card. There is an ASUS GPU TweakII program where you can click on Professional Mode and it allows you to manually turn on the fans if you see they card is getting hot. But that setting goes back to the auto as soon as you close the program or restart your system. They do have some info on the ROG Forums about somehow plugging a couple of your case fans into the card so they can control those fans too to keep your card cool. Since I auto overclocked it to 5GHz, it seems the overclock program takes care of the fans and turns them on when needed. Best regards, Jim Just what you want to have to deal with when you buy and expensive, top of the line card. Mark CYYZ
January 23, 20179 yr I just manually control the fans myself interesting to be able to plug a few case fans in there though Angus Rowlands: i7 8700 RTX Asus Strix 2080, 16 GB RAM

I don't like to use CPU auto overclock or running additional applications - like something to control fans. I like it becouse it's pushed a bit more then other models, but MSI GAMING Z is also not bad at all i guess. Whatever i choose, i'm sure it will make a big difference after my 560ti  Zeljko Budovic
January 24, 20179 yr The only reason I'm back at 3.3.5 is because of the Nvidia driver error that pops up in 3.4 hotfix2 after installing the FSLabs airbus. I did not read anything in the Spotlight releasenotes that that issue was fixed, right? I'd prefer to be on 3.4 as it feels a little smoother to me. Are there any news from LM concerning this issue in V3.4 HF2? This DXGI Error Device Hung is a pain in the neck. P3D crashes after closing a flight with BEX error and faulting fslsounds.dll unloaded after that I cannot start P3D because of this failure. January 24, 20179 yr Purchased the P3D version of the Bus over the weekend. I did the tutorial several times just to get acquainted with it as I am only fluent in Boeing language.. I have had some issues with stuttering caused by AOC Services which I am trying to get help with through the FSL forums. Disabling it in Task Manger fixes the issue though. Aside from that, this thing is fantastic. The sounds are unlike anything I have experienced in a sim! I did a PFPX planned flight yesterday from Flightbeam KSFO to FSDT KLAX. I used AS16/ASCA along with Chaseplane & PTA. I use the ORBX suite of FTX Global/Vector and OpenLC as well. No AI traffic for this flight but will add it back going forward. Opening VAS remaining at the KSFO gate was 1.15gb at the start. I monitored this through the flight and it hovered around 1gb remaining most of the flight. Landed at KLAX with .65gb remaining. Average FPS in VC never dipped under 30 fps and was near 50fps in cruise with moderate cloud cover. This was impressive considering what a heavy area this is along with 2 demanding add-on airports. Looking forward to the next flight!! Eric i9-12900k, RTX 5070ti OC, 32GB ddr5 5600 RAM, 2TB 980 Pro SSD, Titan 240RX AIO, Samsung CRG90 49", Win 11

January 24, 20179 yr What is AOC Service? It appears to allow datalink service for importing flightplans from Vatsim, PFPX, etc. I guess it isn't completely needed in my case. I do get a datalink error on the ECAM though when it is disabled. Eric i9-12900k, RTX 5070ti OC, 32GB ddr5 5600 RAM, 2TB 980 Pro SSD, Titan 240RX AIO, Samsung CRG90 49", Win 11

I don't have crashes with the new version anymore but had a couple with v192. Those were related to the dreadful Coutl and Addon Manager from FSDT (hate it!). When I deactivated those, the CTDs stopped. [email protected] ∣ Asus ROG Strix B650E-E ∣ 64Gb@6000MT ∣ NVidia 5090 FE

When I deactivated those, the CTDs stopped. Grrrrr....that's scary. I have GSX, I have ALL FSDT/FBeam airports that rely on both Coutl and Addon Manager. So I would not be able to fly the bus with these two items ON? I would really appreciate a clarification on this subject as othewise it's quite serious obstacle for purchasing. 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.
January 24, 20179 yr Commercial Member I am also getting DXGI Error Device Hung error With Nvidia 376.33 drivers (latest from mid December I believe). I have uninstalled spotlights for now as I had the issue on v31 and v32 and have not seen the error yet, but I also have no dome lighting in the Bus which is a pain at night. Going to attempt to reinstall v32 one more time tonight and see if i get any better results. - Jordan Jafferjee - AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D | Asus X670-E Pro Prime | Gigabyte RTX4080 Eagle | 64G G.Skill Trident Z.5 DDR5-6000 | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 | 2x2TB Samsung 990 Pro NVME | NZXT H7 | Win 11 24H2 | TM Warthog Flight Stick + Throttle | Honeycomb Alpha + Bravo | MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals | Samsung 43" Odyssey Neo G7 | Dell U3415W

January 24, 20179 yr For the time beeing I'm back to V3.2. After my last A320 flight with the BEX crash while closing down the sim I'm not able to start P3D again without this dxgi error. Just doing a flight for testing purposes. @ Kenneth: In that case I hope LM will fix this soon. Intel i9 12900K, Asus ROG Strix Gaming Z690-A Wifi D4, GSkill 32gb, RTX 4090 Regards Chris Kathi
January 24, 20179 yr Last comments made me reinstall 3.4 and try with the FSLabs (had already installed the update Sunday). Also installed the P3D content, never upgraded that to 3.4 before. So now client, content and scenery are 3.4 (with Rex, PrecipitFX, ASCA, etc. re-applied). Two flights made no crash. Interesting. ---- Kenneth Verburg, Netherlands
