LOL!

Switching from P3D to X-Plane, is kinda like switching from Barcelona to Real Madrid, isn't it?

There ought to be a name for speculation like this.  Like there is "Vaporware", what would one call this?  Apparently, for an insider the P3D4 we've created here collectively is called "Chuckleware".  :)

No, my wife was getting jealous!

Whatever comes out of Lockheed Martin's next flight simulator product, I'm sure everyone will be happy for at least 10 minutes, maybe even 12 minutes ... possibly 13 minutes if it's released on a Friday night.

Cheers, Rob.

Rob, why did you say that

Now everyone will expect a upcoming release by this Friday and this thread will go crazy till then

I know!!! but so many on here will start thinking that any "friday" this year the release will be out.

I predict there will so many threads on here with people complaining that their 32bit p3d/fsx apps do not work in the 64 bit p3d and we all will have to explain the reasons why

Regardless of all these speculation threads; it is a great time in the simulation world

In all honesty it was never part of FSX but rather a very clever option introduced in the DX10SF.

Yes but the take home message was if this was proven doable on FSX it seems plausible to assume it very well might be in doable in P3D, and it's arguably something to try to fix w/ a pretty big pay off, and as I say, the basic design is already known, most likely.

Hahaha ...

2x 32 bit = 64 bit

Don't laugh. Cisco made that similar joke 5 years ago onto one of their flagship product !
