I'm guessing you have first-hand knowledge of that rather than just guesswork. Is performance the same? By that I mean fps etc.

Hi Ray,

I have no first-hand knowledge but I know people in high places who are very knowledgeable.  All I can say.

Best regards,

Jim

Here's another topic about 32 bit add-ons working in a 64 bit application -

Even if they do work, I would hope developers would upgrade their product to 64bit, especially scenery developers.

Best regards,

Jim

Sounds like you just let the cat out of the bag. I thought that was a big no no here?

Question for someone that is expert on 32-64 bit. If you have a program that is converted from 32 to 64 bits, would one expect the performance to be better with 32 bit, or would FPS be expected to decrease when moved to 64 bit, since more data has to be processed?

No gauge, DLL or EXE that is 32bit will work with a 64bit version of the sim.  It's literally not possible.

Could they be using a 32bit "emulator" for the 32bit stuff and piping it in?? (Just making stuff up)

There's also another update to P3d V3 in the works.

How do you know that?

This is the most entertaining thread I've read in some time!
