AI traffic for V4

Hi guys,  I am looking for a traffic addon to use in P3D V4.  I currently use MT6a which seems to work fine but the models are horrible looking for the most part.  That is the main reason I am looking for another alternative.  Right now I have WOAI fsx native models installed and they look great, but most of the WOAI stuff is from fs9 and wont work in V4.  I am looking for the best looking models mainly for use with vpilot and vatsim.  So I don't really care about accurate flight plans and all that stuff.  They must be FSX native models.  Any recommendations?

The aircraft from FSPXAI are all FSX models and perform perfectly in P3D v4.

I can also recommend all aircraft from FAIP (the FSX versions).

Does that mean, you have to replace every single repaint of the MT with these? That is quite a job...

About UTLive. Do you have to do the same job with it? Does it have GA and military traffic.

I am pretty happy with MT in many ways but the models do look terrible!

These look like a pretty good option.  How exactly do u install the base models and liveries into v4? I have tried in the past and could never make them work.

It can be time consuming you have to learn the process of creating and editing aircraft.cfg flightsim entries. Move the title= line from the mytraffic model repaint to be replaced and have the better model use that title entry.

Eric, thanks for offering to check! It's not really so much about specific airlines as a decent coverage at non-North American/European airports. But let's see: here's the non-obvious ones that fly to Almaty, Kazakhstan. How many of these are in there? Should give a good sense of coverage.

Aeroflot (well, this is an "obvious" one but it is an important one to have for CIS flying)
Air Arabia
Air Astana
Bek Air
Belavia
Kam Air
Mahan Air
Pegasus Airlines
Pobeda
Qazaq Air
S7 Airlines
SCAT Airlines
Somon Air
Tajik Air
Turkmenistan Airlines
Ukraine International Airlines
Uzbekistan Airways

Thanks,
James

James - All of these airlines are present in the UTL menu with the exception of Qazaq Air....hope that helps!

Wow, I'm genuinely surprised and impressed. I might have to give UTL a look, then!

I'm interested in UTL. MT6 models look pretty bad but they work... The problem I've heard about is something like too many Deadlus (sp?). Is that cured?

I just basically want to install for online flying. So I'm not worried about the models having ai flight schedules

Again, they are F9 models, not compatible with P3DV4 so I'm confused as to why you are still posting this.

Best wishes.

If you start with that as a base you can go through and update the models. There are updates to the most popular named models here for v4:

http://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?board=220.0

If a model is not compatible you can replace temporarily using the old title= line

I purchased but stuck maybe for a small problem I only have p3dv4 and ut setting dosen't recognize v4 it's total blank, is there anyone that can share the XML of UT-live setting?

In anycase after following some hint on UT forum I can see the traffic and even departure and arrival

They are great ai models. Have spent a week so far replacing all my fs9 models, Freeware and purchased the FSPXAI 777, A330 from Simmarket. Lot of work, but will pay off in the end. Works great on your app too. A380 to be released soon.

Depends on your definition of cured. In the current beta release there are approximately:

1262 "aircraft repaints assignments" and 1365 "aircraft using generic Daedalus"

My numbers are slightly different to the default as I have added in Virgin Australia, which was a "Daedalus" assignment and messed with the Alaska mappings as they are still showing AS flying CRJs (which I think were retired at the end of last year in favour of E175s).

Cheers
