Singapore (Imaginesim) to release soon

Featured Replies

This is definitely great news! I was beginning to lose hope for Asia. Hopefully more 3rd party developers will start making new P3D v4 compatible scenery now. I've been waiting ages for RKSI!

It's good to hear but also a bit frustrating like some others have mentioned, why are developers working on existing airports when there are so many others that aren't being worked on. I wish there was a centralized list where airport developers can keep track of whose making what. Maybe that way we can have more new airports without any overlap.

Since we have Bangkok's VTBS, Singapore WSSS, Incheon RKSI, I really hope somebody will create Tan Son Nhat International VVTS in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam... and VVBN, VVDN as well.

There are a lot of big international airports in Asia I would like to fly to, but I'm waiting for a proper P3D v4 version.

We are 95% done with Reno-Tahoe Int and will work full time on our new project Incheon Int (RKSI). RKSI ground polygon and photoreal work began 2 months ago and we will start with terminal 1 building right after KRNO release. RKSI will be native P3DV4 SDK and will include SODE jetways, dynamic lighting, etc.

Great! Could you for your next project do more pacific islands? I'd really like the islands of Guam and Saipan and their international airports.

I have the Overland RKSI and used it in FSX for years, but unless I'm much mistaken it doesn't work in P3D v4.

Besides which, that version was better than nothing, but was never one of my favorites. Relatively poor performance and some very dated modeling and textures.

I have Overland rksi in p3dv4

I can't even get upset about this anymore.  It seems like every new airport announced is a duplicate of one another developer (or more than one!) is doing or has already done.

How about RKSI, huh? Or ZBAA?

Great news. More and more, I enjoy flying with PMDG 744 to and from big Asian hubs with nearly max settings in P3Dv4 which is not possible on major hubs in "western world".

Slowly is right! It's been at least 3 years, right?

Apparently it's extremely monotonous as each gate bay has to be made individually, along with it being one of the biggest airports in the world. It took him a few months just to do the ground markings, if that gives any sort of scale to the project.

I don't want to start a new thread on this and since ImagineSim brought it up in their FB post, who's doing the ATL now?

Awesome news! RKSI from PacSim is very exciting! Will be my new Asian hub airport.

FlyTampa is working on ATL. It'll come after Boston and Las Vegas, I believe...

Hope to see PacSim focus more on Asia! They make amazing airports for this region!

Talking about Singapore, does anyone know if the A_A Sceneries Kuala Lumpur is working in P3D v4? If yes, then I might pick that up to go with WSSS when it is released.

Yes it is so far as I'm aware.
