Viewers contacted the station after watching a plane draw what appeared to be crude depictions of a penis in the sky in Okanogan County, which borders Canada. The station posted pictures of the drawings on its website. (Warning: Some viewers may find the pictures offensive.)

A mother in Okanogan, Washington, told the station she was upset because she might have to explain the drawings to her kids.

The Navy told the station that the aircraft involved was based at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island off the Washington coast. The air station's website describes it as the "premier naval aviation installation in the Pacific Northwest."

In a statement to the station, the Navy said the incident was "unacceptable."

"The Navy holds its aircrew to the highest standards and we find this absolutely unacceptable, of zero training value and we are holding the crew accountable," the Navy said.

An FAA official told the station there was nothing the agency could do about the incident because it "cannot police morality."

In risque Naval terminology, aren't Naval Aviators all "Swinging Dicks" i.e. they're a bunch of badasses, at least in their opinions

That's hilarious. They shouldn't be disciplining the crew, they should be giving them a medal for such precise airmanship. And as for the 'upset mother', the only thing she needs to explain to her kids is that it's okay to have some fun once in a while. Someone should spray paint a big c**k on the side of her house and tell her to go sniff a chemtrail. 

Oh, and don't call a navy flyer a 'pilot', they are aviators.

On a similar but far less expensive note, some jack-the-lads, (or lasses!) had used road marking paint to draw a large penis on a straight bit of road leading to the village where I live (it was pointing away from the village, so it would be towards Longridge actually :D ). It was good paint - it stayed there for nearly a year! A farmer did dump a bit of manure on it to disguise it, but it was still there, just covered in sh.. Oh, how i laughed! Sorry. I'm never growing up!

To me it looks like a big, cowboy hat that Hoss would wear on the classic TV show "Bonanza". That's what I would tell my kids.
