Start by locking your FPS to 20 and turn VSync off. Delete your shader folder and see how that affects your sim.

Bad graphics?   Look fine to me..

Better:

Display:
FXAA off
AA:  4XSSAA
texture filtering: anisotropic  8X
texture resolution: high 2048x2048

No offense vic but I don't get it? I've heard this 20 before. Just for curiosity I tried it. I have a stuttering ultra mess at that.  I found Unlimited, Vsync on the best for me and very good with no complaints

Yeah. I'm not seeing a problem here with these screenshots.

Try what Bert suggested, as far as settings.

Also, what settings do you have? P3D settings and system resolution settings.

I'm trying to say Autogen buildings are loading to late on the first view out of cockpit it's like photoreal..

For example in this video you can see it's loaded the buildings.

I can't tell how fast your autogen loads - however regarding screenshots itself - it looks very good in my opinion.

Careful with comparing your sim to youtube videos. All kinds of tricks can be employed to make them look good in a way that isn't achievable in a realtime flight. One such trick is to run the sim at half speed, which will let scenery loading keep up with your aircraft's movements, and then run the video at double speed.

Popping and slow loading autogen is universal problem that most are suffering from at one time or other, especially with complex, resource hogging aircraft. Only known fix is to lower your settings.

Is that default terrain scenery in those screenshots? If it is, then it's never going to look good

I installed ORBX:huh: Is it any issue ? Because it's looking different on ORBX website then mine..

Screenshots look great to me!  My scenery isn't that clear and crisp while flying a jet!

Ditto what others said about you tube videos... it's entirely possible that person ran 1/2 speed in sim (which allows all the scenery to easily load and autogen to show up), then outputs the video at 2x speed which means 1x real time.

If you want max autogen loading radius you'll need to bump that top slider "level of detail radius"

Also put texture resolution at 7cm if you want crisp texture down low...  it's tough to tell from the flight levels if it's at 1m but you might notice some blurries.

For lighting to get a smoother look of autogen and buildings, check all those boxes on the right side "Object Type" for casting shadows to cast and receive.  Hurts CPU though.

Nothing wrong with the graphics. These recommendations about locking fps to 20 have to stop. Utter nonsense, and from a moderator at that.

Hi Peter,

Being a - "mod" - doesn't infer any special technical skill - it's someone who stepped up to do a thankless job when others did not... Right or wrong - a little mutual respect goes a long way around here...

Scott

I'll let your insult slide THIS time, however - I suggest you spend more time researching this "utter nonsense" before you deride it. You will find all the reasons FOR starting at 20 if you know how to search but as with ANY setting change - it may not work for all but I can guarantee there are many P3D users happily flying along with this "utter nonsense".

Search and learn please.
