The live data is not live. It's from shoulder season not live. 

Is there a way to edit the taxi speed for AI I forget how to do it.  Many thanks

Pete, I think Lorby has a tool that does that. Not 100% on that though.

 

Also, in the manual, there is instructions about what to do when another carrier fly's for another carrier, which you mentioned in previous post.

Pros. 

1. The traffic was accurate on departure, (utLive schedules are old) 

2. There wasnt traffic sitting on stands that was going anywhere (utLive will have dormant a/c taking up stands) 

3.easy to compile timetable for my flight. (see point one) 

 

Cons.

1.  its only going to give me traffic at EGGD AND LGRP.  the whole 4 hour flight down to LGRP ive not seen any traffic

2.  It can only do one sector.  When i come back after doing the turn in LGRP i will have to load up the sim.  If i do a 4 sector day, im not going to want to load up 4 times.

3.  On compiling schedules it told me i was missing a Novair a320.  Now to add the novair livery i need to faff around with a text document to add the livery. It would be easier to have a gui to point and click to select the livery.

 

My honest opinion i dont mind paying a tiny 3.50 a month.  Thats the price of a beer.  But they need to make it so you canb do mulitple sectors and not have to load up each flight.

Can make my mind up on this wether its better than UTlive with the old schdules.  Nothing is ever easy

There is a small app available in the AVSIM library. I'll send you the name later when I'm at home, but perhaps you'll find it anyway. I've testet it with 4.5HF and did increase ai taxi speed from 20 mph to 30 mph.

I've purchased both, since freeware AIG was released, have deleted both. Never went back to them..they don't represent my part of this planet...their world is limited to US, Europe...outside of that small world, you can forget any kind of accurate AI.

Well maybe you should try PSXseeconTraffic providing real live traffic in the USA and Europe  of course but as far as I know also in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong,  Beijing, Singapore, Japan,  South Africa ...

Did you try AI LIVE TRAFFIC? In Switzerland, small country, time tables are highly accurate and are updated constantly during the day! What is your location?

My goodness, these AI traffic threads leave you more confused than what you originally were coming into them. 

So I've been away from simming for awhile, never jumped on the P3D bandwagon until this last weekend, catching up is quite the chore. 

I always used MyTraffic (think I had v4 or 5) back in the day and I was always impressed because not only did it supply traffic but Burkhard had taken the time to put parking in at a ton of smaller airports. I remember one time I didn't have any traffic at Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks, Alaska and he said it was because there were no parking spots at that time and he put in whatever needed to be put in and within a few days I had full military traffic. I also understand his health is failing him and that MyTraffic has probably reached its end... but reading the comments here from 2018 and earlier it doesn't sound like that is much different than any other program (they say they are getting this great update soon!, and then 6 months later "just talked to him, sounds like a big update is coming soon!")... Sure

Basically where I am going with this is do these other programs you guys speak of insert parking/ground routes, whatever needs to be done for some smaller airports so that you get decent traffic outside of huge airports? Is that even an issue anymore? I like to use Airhualer and sometimes you get put off the grid and having ATC make you follow an aircraft in front of you builds the immersion that I like in a flight sim and as you know Airhauler can send you all over the place so having to edit airport and traffic files between flights for every place you fly is out of the question. I don't expect everything but it would be nice to have 10-12 GA traffic at a place like KVDF (Tampa Executive) and maybe 1 or 2 at a place like KSPG (St. Petersburg Whitted).

What about mixing UTLive and say ORBX AI Traffic North America General Aviation? Would that give me a solid mix of passenger/cargo traffic AND GA traffic?

I am attempting to look into AIG AI Manager but they've yet to approve my registration request and it looks like that is required to install.

 You can mix those products without issue, what you will find though is that AI Traffic North America General Aviation is really tailored for within their FTX NA regions. GA AI is a tough one unless you have been collecting the many freeware options over the past 10 years. The payware route will help populate the skies, but imo it's at the cost of using hideous models that really dumbs down the look of the sim that we've all worked pretty hard to make look good.

 AIG's option is incredible, VERY well worth the time required to get it installed. For military AI in P3dv4, MAIW's Matrix is without a doubt, the way to go. It's free and spectacular.
