I think you would need to delete the flight plan/airline for the models you want to change. Then re-download them and click configure in the install and you can select payware/freeware there. Don’t know if there is another way, I don’t use payware.

at the moment this is the only way, but we are working on a better solution that will come with AIM 1.0, then you only need to delete the SImObject directories and AIM will reinstall the missing repaints automatically when possible.

best of luck with all your AIG installs - i'm sure they work fine for you,

20 mins is all it took me to install Traffic Global (Early Access) with 10GB of AI aircraft - zero PiTA...

very rarely, in 40 years of computer experience, have i had such a bad experience - as i did with AIG - sorry.

YMMV

Not sure about your reasoning for posting here after trashing the program on Orbx's forums.
Given that this is a highly popular AI traffic program, yes, AIM works just fine.

That’s odd, I ditched other traffic programs because AIG was up to date and easy to use. Such a good program.

With 40 years of computer experience you should be ok with such an easy to use program...

Maybe you have installed AIM OIC in a place where it can't store the cookie info?

Have you tried to start it with admin rights?

Regarding "what airline should i pick? .... i am with Pete, also have installed ALL of the available airlines (and also do not delete DEFUNCT carriers like Germania etc.).
With UTLive i did it that way: i looked for which airlines the airports serviced i usually fly to in P3D (got this info from the airport webpages) and then i activated this airlines.

i have it running with Admin rights....AIM actually warns you if you have it set incorrectly.  It is located on a separate drive to my P3D v5 install and I am guessing cookies are allowed in this location...maybe it needs to be on my C drive?

It was just an idea ...

oh dear,

my alert is - One Click Install - OCI - actually rubbish...

i was immediately, when trying to install Aer Lingus - referred to a zip file on MediaFire (dodgy) - & i completely knew to avoid all the dodgy links that were presented to me - & immediately deinstalled AIG...

also, did not appreciate how AIG was directing me to SimMarket AI payware models...

Mate, i've made my choice to never trust AIG again - 'cause it peaked my 40 year experience 'dodgy meter' - i just know what to avoid, dear.

Thanks , but that would reguire that i remember what airline has payware 😀

May i suggest a tool outside as "payware upgrade " panel where you can choose to update your freeware models

Thanks again

Whilst it may require more than a single click of the mouse to install everything that is a small price to pay for such a diverse range of aircraft and liveries. I'm currrently on a world tour and there are AIG Ai at every airport I visit. A testament to the hard work freely given by so many dedicated enthusiasts.

I've installed from all the sites and none are 'dodgy'. That wouldn't be allowed by the AIG developers I'm sure. Yes, sometimes you are offered a payware aircraft but it's easy enough to decline. Nothing terrible happens.

You appear to be a member of a very small club who distrust AIG. Enjoy your alternative package.

I got it sorted out.  I think the Avsim Library has a different log in than the forums.  All working now.  Installed in small blocks the airlines that I want.

well, excuse me

i will tell you an absolute fact,

i tried to download the Aer Lingus module & was directed to MediaFire (dodgy website with heaps of false links & a gambling Bet 365 advertisement in my face) because the OCI function simply did not work!

imo, IAG - whilst some maybe have got it working - i call a SCAM & immediately REMOVED all traces from my computer...

to call it a 'One Click Installer' is a joke!

thank goodness i $purchased Traffic Global & installed traffic in P3Dv5 - with no fuss & intuitively...

AIG seems to be made for geeks.

YMMV

Your the joke!!  Seriously, calling it a scam???

it is a great program and given free to the community by someone generous enough to it help the community.

if your too stupid to figure it out then maybe you shouldn’t even own a pc.

Gents, let's leave the personal jibes out of this discussion please. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Ever think the problem is you? EVERYONE ELSE on this board is using AIG with zero issues except for you. AIG OCI has no ads and doesn't install any thing except for what it is suppose to. Sounds like you have zero idea what you are doing. The only SCAM is you for coming onto this forum and making your first posts a flamebait post. The people who put together AIG OCI are absolutely nothing but professionals who have dedicated themselves to putting out a great product that is leaps and bounds ahead of anything else, including payware. Maybe next time you come on and ask for help before throwing daggers at something you have zero knowledge about. Enjoy your second class product that is RARELY updated. Feel free to come back and ask for help installing and using OCI when you feel like being an adult and not down to post inflammatory false information and we'd be more than willing to help.
