I'm having hard time following 3 topics on the same announcement, you should lock some of these, its a mess

This. Not to be mean to other OPs but if we're going to have three or more 50 pages threads plus the July 11th one I'm out.

Whats AVISIM?

Isn't it a French company developing it? AVISIM is the French version of AVSIM 🙂

It is really impressive that the detail is on that level thinking of how hard I have zoomed in. That is a SMALL part of the screenshot, taken from a movie...

Edit - updated my zoomed image as I realized I had done a screendump of a non fullsized video... Even better this way

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

I took it as a Hint for the Roman number 11, such as XI , but I am probably wrong and others are right about compatibility?

Microsoft Flight Simulator XI?

And we are off and running again!

That was my guess as well

It would be good marketing in the modern era to have an official Facebook and Twitter presence. Just please don't make it the only, or primary source of information, because not all of us are on Facebook and Twitter.

All the topics have been merged into this one. Any more about the 25th update will either be merged or deleted.

Thank you.

Haha! Really great to see they have a sense of humour 😂🤣😂

It's looking very nice indeed. I have signed up to the Insider program several times now. I hope I can get in!

Would look forward to seeing how this new version/engine will work with these new AMD processors and if it can leverage the use of all these cores!

At this point, based on what was said in the update we should put the mandatory subscription speculation to rest. It ain't happening. Expect to pay $60 once or get in on the game pass goodness.

Now for those of you who insisted they weren't watching our forum, the crow is waiting. Will you come peacefully or do we have to drag you out? Lol

Interesting update and exciting times ahead. Cant wait for August.

The most valuable takeaway, is the communication level and willingness to listen to the community.  This is paramount for success. Even adding some humour and quoting posts. I cant remember any previous FS series being so communicative about an upcoming FS.  Of course back in the day, the updates were few and far between by way of PC Pilot magazine, and there was no community feedback whatsoever.

Actually, you'd just have to open AVSIM to get all the latest news plus factual commentary and expert analyses 😉
