these videos are part of feature discovery series videos. This teaser deals with the 1st episode "World". Why would they show a cockpit landing here?

I do not think it's very difficult if we compare the same scenario with XP or P3D.It will necessarily be better.I'm not worried.We will be able to invest in a good and big $1500 graphics card for a little more than 5 fps of bonus.

Very impressive... but still waiting for seasons and helicopters.

With the amount of detail they have shown I would be extremely surprised if we didn't get Helis.

I'm not sure why anyone would say the video is 'underwhelming' just because they didn't show something else.  I also didn't see the cloud popping someone else mentioned.

MS clearly stated that this was a preview of this particular part of the discovery series and the details of this preview would be laid out later.  

Keep in mind we probably have just over a year before release, so they're not going to show everything in video (as much as we'd all like it).

In any case the visuals thus far are nothing short of stunning.  They're light years ahead of anything we've seen before in any flight simulator.  It's also a alpha preview.

You can`t have it all now that`s next year patience is a virtue.   

There is no patience in people that have predetermined expectations. Good, or bad.

So even I an Australian can pick SFO Bay and Central Park but where are the other places?

I think it's a small mistake.He has awkwardly clicked on a candy floss YouTube tutorial video which ended badly.

As a past RW pilot, I'm disappointed that to date there has been little in 'teaser' videos on what improvements we can expect inside the cockpit vs looking outside as a passenger.

Are you joking? If they could show an airliner landing at JFK in 4K for 5 minutes then it'd be release ready....

Do either of you know what a pre-alpha is? What planet are you on lol? This appears to have an astonishing level of polish for such an early build.
