October 17, 20196 yr Tropicalsim's KDCA was never updated for P3D beyond v1.2, so really Drzewiecki Design's version (part of their Washington airports package) is the only native version for P3D v3/v4 users. I don't remember what the IS KLGA performance was like though, which is very important given the proximity to KJFK and KEWR (Newark). If I get a chance this weekend I'll try to test and report here. DD's KDCA (Washington X) and the surrounding Washington's DC area was nicely done and I don't recall experiencing or even hearing about any performance issues with the scenery so I would be surprised to see it redone. October 17, 20196 yr While I am running the SSJ DTW beta in P3D, I don't think a lot of people got access to it. I know I never gained access to the beta forums (got the email, but nothing else), so I don't know if development of that has halted again or if it is still going. I think DTW would be a good candidate considering there are really no modern options for the airport unless you got your hands on the SSJ Beta. No, I am not including Blueprint. I've been a member of the SSJ Beta team dince 2009. Since its always been freeware, (something new is KDTW being donationware, which I'm very happy to see). As such, the guys have a different priority for completing the project hut they always come through for us. The wuality if their work is such that I'd be surprised to see a payware developer fo the same airport, but you never know! This is NYC, don't overestimate their capacity to build 😛 Construction is well underway but is not even close to being finished. However, they are doing a tiered construction scheme, and so I believe concourse B was already opened and is currently in use. Most of the rest of the terminal is still awaiting construction however. And let's not even begin talking about the proposed airtrain connection to the subway... I believe they havent decided yet where it should even connect, and if so, how. It'll be a little while longer, I think 😉 Benjamin van Soldt Windows 10 64bit - i5-8600k @ 4.7GHz - ASRock Fatality K6 Z370 - EVGA GTX1070 SC 8GB VRAM - 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX @ 3200MHz - Samsung 960 Evo SSD M.2 NVMe 500GB - 2x Samsung 860 Evo SSD 1TB (P3Dv4/5 drive) - Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM - Seasonic FocusPlus Gold 750W - Noctua DH-15S - Fractal Design Focus G (White) Case

Nothing ever came of it but the idea was out there. I know someone brought up the possibility of LatinVFR taking on KDTW when it was still in pre-beta stage due to Ian's absence. Ricardo stated that if he were to take on the project, he would build it from scratch and not use SSJ's code. As it is DTW is in beta, and since it's being actively (?) developed, it's unlikely LatinVFR will take that on. They're usually pretty big on not taking on scenery when other devs are doing it.
