October 18, 20196 yr Doubt they have a case that will stand up in court. It is the airline that suffered and the pilots were not the owners of the aircraft. I find it hard to see how they could prevail unless they find a good sympathetic Texas jury in a civil trial.

Sure they do. There are a lot of psychological circumstances following the crash of those two aircraft that perhaps left a significant impact on the pilots state of mind. It's stressful enough to fly day in and day out, but back to back incidents in similar aircraft is enough to affect them emotionally. October 18, 20196 yr I don't think this will go away very soon. If it turns out that Boeing knew that this crazy computer was trying to kill people then it will be law suites for the record books. October 19, 20196 yr Haha. Good one! The X-32 that lost out to the LM F-35. The F-35 has been no prize, so imagine how bad that the Boeing X-32 was.

October 19, 20196 yr Quote It was only after data suggested that MCAS played a role in the second crash that Boeing and the F.A.A. decided to ground the Max. I was under the impression that European and other operators decided to stop all flights of the 737 MAX, and that this forced Boeing and the FAA to do the same. China was the first country that grounded the MAX, then others followed. China is the largest operator, largest purchaser and has the most at stake in the MAX.
