It will be interesting to see what kinds of differences exist at this point with the PC version and the Xbox version.

I do not think it's there to play on the Xbox. It is supposed to be programmed after completion of the PC version

Guys, Xbox is not the same as Xbox. Xbox is the brand of Microsoft of all games. It will be the PC version

Xbox is for a while now how it's called Microsoft's gaming division. Which will be playable on the XO19 is the PC version. As far as I know they didn't even start to port it to the console at this point.

Also I highly doubt it will be available for the current gen Xbox. There is just no way Xbox one can handle MSFS unless the devs are wizards. It will definitely be developed for Scarlett and maybe a very dumbed down version ported to One X later on.

Microsoft's entire gaming division now falls under Xbox as a brand, and their studios have collectively been renamed "Xbox Game Studios" (used to be Microsoft Game Studios).

If this is playable at XO19, and not just there as a guided demo, it'll 100% be on PCs.

I don’t necessarily agree with this. As far as I’m aware the One X is about as powerful as a PC with a GTX 1070 in it and a decent enough processor. I would have thought that would be around the minimum recommended settings by next year.

It has been stated that MSFS will be available on the yet to be released Xbox Scarlet, I think it's called. Not the current Xbox.

Stated by whom? I haven’t seen asobo or microsoft say anything that specific, just ‘Xbox’. I can imagine that the timing of all of this means that it will likely skip this generation, but I think it would be capable enough.

They said that after the PC version they would bring it to the "Xbox One family". They were not specific regarding the model.

I don't see why it cannot be brought to the current consoles with lots of optimisation and tweaking on their part. The Xbox One X has a GPU slightly better than the RX 580 (so somewhere between the GTX 1060 6GB and GTX 1070), and for the Xbox One they can drop the resolution to 720p as they do with many other games.

Might not mean that much but it's nice to see that they're really pushing MSFS in their marketing campaign:

Of all the Xbox games currently in development they chose to show MSFS in this short teaser (also mentioned in the description). We're getting some love here haha (and they want our wallet).

They decided to show what they can show. It's not like they are doing any extra effort for the Flight Simulator, they are just marketing it like any other game they are interested in promoting 🙂
