I registered way back but had windows 7, I updated to windows 10 and dxdiag file on December 20th,  do you guys think I have chance to be recruited for tech alpha 2???

That's the way I read it too 🙂 Here's hoping the remaining people that signed up for Tech Alpha 1, will now get in! And access to their forums to discuss it and help with finding thing's that need to be fixed.

Well I cant believe that nobody has commented that Tech Alpha 2 is apparently a "Release Candidate".

What the?  In my world Release Candidate comes after Beta. Could it be that we are seeing release

much sooner than anticipated?

Can't say for sure, but I have a hunch release will be around middle of the year August maybe September

With RC they mean that the alpha is ready to be tested. But they are not talking about the game being completed. So:

Alpha 2 -> RC

Game stage -> Alpha 2

Correct. I suspect Alpha 2 will have some extra features not available in Alpha 1. Most likely more planes, less likely snow on the ground as well.

I am genuinely surprised that Alpha 2 will be releasing soon. I was expecting a March release. Looks like we will be hearing about Beta soon.

Well if I don't get in to Tech Alpha 1 hopefully will by Tech Alpha 5 around July😁.

I don't have my hopes up for getting into any of the Alphas, but I was quite disappointed with this update.No mention of anything with the winter video, no new screenshots, and it looks like there's nothing changed in the Feedback Snapshots, so not much new this time.

Hopefully a good deal of optimisation too, which means they can open up testing to a wider range of systems.

Tech Alpha 1 took so long because it was delayed multiple times (I believe it was a build compilation issue), so future builds should be coming out quicker.

Probably earlier than that, they said they'll be opening a new recruitment round in mid-January, for what I assume is Tech Alpha 3.

There was supposed to be a general Development Roadmap update yesterday, but other than that the update was in line with what they said it would be. Sadly we don't have a concrete date yet, but there's a chance we will get Episode 5 (Sound Scape) next week, along with some new partner announcements.

Surprised too. It was quite of short time to implement corrections on what alpha1 testers listed as deficiencies. 

Actually, even this was a short update, it could be one of the best so far.

We just found out there is a pretty good chance for us mortals to be involved in the tech alpha anytime this month. Until the end of january, 2 waves of e-mails will be sent !

It is what was expected according to DR. The only thing missing is the new DR for this month.
