The real reason for closing EKCH seems to be a bit off-topic in a flightsim forum but I notice also in the real world that thousands of windmills they are building within the "hidden" Green-Deals and starting to close airports have killed already lots of real life birds. I can't find any detailed info over it and it's been a while I was there in real life but glad that I can still visit every monday evening the virtual EKCH. Happy landings at Kastrup..... Also, given that Copenhagen Airport is one the largest workplaces in Denmark, I'm quite sure, that a closure would be 'Breaking News' on all media outlets in - well at least - Denmark. Just FYI some data from Germany: Windmills have killed around 100.000 birds in 2017. Around 4-5 bird per windmill.
