Wow, knock down that shine a bit. MSFS may not even be too far off with night lighting. In the comparison video there are some really decent shots where the light is not as bright as in the San Francisco shot. Maybe downtown is just brighter, like in reality. Happy with MSFS 🙂 home simming evolved
February 24, 20206 yr When I got back into flight simming a few years ago, I almost bought XP, but instead, I invested in some payware addons for FSX. After seeing the comparison video posted earlier, and knowing what's coming down the pipe with MSFS, I'm happy with my decision. 😎👍
February 24, 20206 yr Come on guys. Again, please don't quote videos. They will be removed. And please don't start any more arguments. If you don't agree with someone, you can say so without starting another string of arguments. Snide, smart aleck comments will be removed. Thank you. February 24, 20206 yr The tree and grass issues are well known and I have no doubt Asobo and MS are aware of it. Without a doubt I think that during the cycles of Alpha's, Beta's, and final release it will be taken care of. Thank you. February 25, 20206 yr What about the pushback scene? Is the game at fast speed or pushback needs to be slowed down?

February 25, 20206 yr The fast pushback was jarring but I'm certain that is just a value which hasn't been tweaked yet. Alpha is about getting features implemented, beta is about tweaking said features to polish them over. Stuff like rapid pushbacks, AI planes slamming on landings, and tall trees are exactly the kinds of things which get addressed during a beta phase.

If the latest video is using a recent build (which I suspect it is) and it still shows issues of tree scale then that means they've made little or no progress on that issue. It might be that they don't consider tree scale an issue at all, which is a worry. I'm not sure what I have been reading over the last few pages of this thread, I think I've woken up into some kind of alternative Universe.🚑 AMD 9800X3D, NZXT X73 RGB AIO COOLER, Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite WIFI7, 64GB 6000MHZ RAM, 4TB Samsung Pro NVME, 4 TB Crucial P3+ NVME, 4TB Crucial SSD, Gigabyte Gaming OC Geforce RTX5090, Antec C8 ARGB Case, X55 JOYSTICK/THROTTLES, LG 4K C4 42" TV/Monitor 120 Hz, 2 Dell 1080 monitors. February 25, 20206 yr Oh that has to be sped up in the video. I also noticed the jetways were sped up too as one other shot with the walking worker was slower.

If it comes close to X-Plane, that's fine for me. If it happens to be superior, great! I know there will always be some flaws. The forward slipping issue just bugs me a little, as it is something I use from time to time IRL (in contrast to stalls 😄 ). If MS gets that done, I'd be more than happy!
