MSFS forum still inaccessible

Featured Replies

Anybody else still unable to access the MSFS forum? It has been a month now of no access! I am still able to login to the Insider area and the simulator. They keep saying they are going to do something but......

Please don't delete my post! I am trying to get their attention.

yes I tried the hacks....no joy!

Asus P6T deluxe v.2 MB, i7 940 3.5ghz CPU, 6gb ddr3 1600 Ram, ,1K watt Antec PS, 300gb 10k rpm vraptor HDD, Windows 7pro 64, nvidea 470 GTX, Track IR4, Matrox TH2G w/21" displays, Saitek X52 pro hotas and yoke, CH pedels, Butt Kicker

Apparently they are going to change the name of the website from Insider, to Outsider, just so everyone who isn't invited to test it doesn't feel completely left out, because at least then they'll be getting a mention. 🤣

Works fine here

To be clear, you can see the insider area of flightsimulator.com?  Because if you can't then that is a different issue.  (https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/570923-cant-login-to-flightsimulatorcom-insider/)

Then you need to email [email protected]

My brother has Coronavirus, confirmed by testing. On 3/26 he almost didn't survive the night.  He had extreme trouble breathing and was given a steroid inhaler.  He was very weak, had nausea, and other issues that aren't pleasant.  As of this update he is feeling much better, and seems he will be fine.  Stay safe out there.  (Updated 4/6)

Hello Cayenne,

Please try this:

So the steps according to source (u/JRock39 Reddit) from the link posted below, which I slightly worded differently are:

1. Log-out of the forums
2. Go to www.xbox.com
3. Logout (if you are already logged in)
4. Login on that page without auto-login (type in your log-in information)
5. Go to www.flightsimulator.com
6. Click on Insider Home (you should be logged on)
7. Go to the forums (you should be logged on)

If you get an error from the forums, try clearing your cache and repeating these steps afterwards.
I had a quite a few of success reports with these steps, so I hope this helps you as well.

Kind regards,
Joe

Could you please send me a private message via the Microsoft Flight Simulator forum, I'll have a look and see if your account is configured correctly. Thank you

Try using Chrome ( latest version ). That solved my login problem.  If you use Edge, chances are it is the problem.

Thank you.

Worked for me in Edge. The critical point obviously is to avoid auto-login.

I can get logged in fine but can no longer see the alpha forums, just the message about the public forums.

Tried leaving and rejoining the Alpha area in the Insider Hub but no joy. 😕

I had the same problem depsite being on the alpha from the start, the only solution was to raise a ticket through the zendesk support and then go through weeks of hoops until somebody at MS reset my forum details.
