I would think it's very conspicuous near the top of the page, right side!  Excuse me while I blow the dust off of my credit card!

Only if you click on the donate tab, which doesn't make much sense IMO. Since you apparently already thinking about donating when you click on the donate tab.

OK, sorry!  You actually have to use your noodle and it's a 2 step process.  Click on DONATE tab and then click on The black Donate clickspot.

If other Avsim members have the same attitude it's no surprise that we are stuck at 9%.

I would if I could, actually.

Here in South Africa, our currency, the Rand, is based on the Dollar, & we are going through the worst recession ever. So, with that, & being jobless, I am NOT condemning anyone, I\'m encouraging people to donate. Dont shoot the messenger. Try encourage the couple of hundred thousand members to join the donation drive. And, after my last posting, $195.00 was donated.

I just rolled the percentage from single to double-digits!  (9 to 10%). 😁

1st time monetary donor, but I've donated several thousand hours of my time supporting the community throughout the years.

I hope that counts just a little. 🙂

And all that support has been appreciated Steve. Indeed, you've been a fixture in the community for years. As I told Fr. Bill, there are many ways to contribute as you and he have shown.

I donate when I can. I wish I could donate more. But being retired and on a pension it isn't always possible. I'm sure a percentage of our members are also in my position

However, I agree with FDEdev that a banner would be a great idea. There is some board discussion concerning working on our donation process as we speak. 

If you can give, please do so. If you can't I understand

Thanks guys!  Love giving back to the community.  I acquired a knack for painting back in 2003 when I wanted a livery nobody was willing to paint.   3 months later I had the 1st repaint under my belt. 😄

Been painting more than flying ever since.

But once you have clicked on the thread you are interested in, your focus is most likely not on the sidebar and and if you scroll down, the bar vanishes after you scrolled past the first response on the page.

AVSIM is supposed to be the largest Flight Sim forum, why the lack of support??
