FINALLY!!!!! The one I've been waiting for forever and the only ORBX scenery I will pay full price for, well almost (appreciate the 20% launch discount.)

Is Orbx using Paypal yet?

I love the Africa is getting some attention. I always wanted to be a bush pilot there.

It's not yet, it's "anymore", as in they used it and not anymore.

There is no difference in giving your credit card out to one vendor vs another... Well, there is paranoia.. but that's a whole other discussion..

Yes, that's correct in principle, but PayPal is not really a vendor, and buying through PayPal gives you some kind of protection against credit cards details being stolen.

So, this is interesting, its one part of the planet I really have never flown, except a couple of rare occasions....

But its only landclass, so then, what about airports, are they any good, or does one need to beef up airports with say freeware improvements and if so where or what are the best sources for airports, particularly GA?

My observation so far, not much different than Orbx Central and South America.  No improved airports.  Some of them are sitting on plateaus (Orbx included mesh).  Don't remember which.  Texturing looks great with my limited explorations.  Don't have Vector and wonder what that would do for improvement.

I think there is at least 1 vendor that offers a few pay ware African airports.  No idea if they would need to be adjusted for Orbx.

Ed,  I have 2 cards, on main one have my salary and savings, second is only for internet shopping - small money attached, so no risk in case some smart "word not allowed" will take over some data.

Having two cards is best protection I think.

Too many things to worry about so at least shopping must be a pleasure without stress :-)

Got it! Have been waiting so longgggg for ORBX to bring this to the market...

Now waiting for some nice "Africa specials" to supplement it.

You do know that paypal *has* been breached in the past, right..?

Also this: https://www.theguardian.com/money/2016/may/26/is-paypal-payment-protected

But ultimately, everyone makes their own choice, of course! Just not something I would personally refrain from buying from (and in fact it's actually even less secure to say, pay at a restaurant where the server can just get all your info while you happily wait for your check to process...)
