Taxi2Gate appear to have released an updated version of their original VHHH scenery for P3Dv4+5! 25 Euros full price, upgrade for 12 Euros for owners of the previous version. Updates include all the new terminal structures!

Anybody that buys it, I'd love to hear what you think of performance!

That's the thing about T2G, they operate like a submarine. Silence for months and then out of nowhere they break the surface and launch something. I hope EDDM isn't far behind as it suffers the same default terminal bleed through like many sceneries.

Seems the surrounding mesh got an update. Airport itself looks pretty decent, no more construction zone, Dynamic lighting built in, Sode jetways etc.

 

I've just downloaded new VHHH but not tried it yet. I hope they now move forward with updates for all their products. I think the upgrade price is ok for this. I'd have their children for a new KMCO! 😂

KMCO and EDDM are my wishlist. I didnt fly into LFPG and I use DD for KSEA.

I have just about every thing they've produced, so fingers crossed eh! 🤞 Keep them coming Taxi2Gate! ……. PLEASE!

Months? More like years 😄

I don't think anything was heard from them since the release of v4 products in late 2017

I was very pessimistic that they will come up with updates or new products. Good that I am proved wrong.

Hopefully they will EDDM and LFPG rework too.....they have very nice and eyecandy scenery!

Extremely happy about this. It was one of my most wanted airports to receive an update.  I love the look of their airports and their texture work.

Just installed it, not yet checked how it looks inside the simulator. But sadly already two big issues:

- for whatever reason, they still use this simmarket installer nonsense putting the scenery inside the P3Dv5 main folder in the Ecosystem\Simmarket subfolders.

- the installer makes a mess. It does add stuff to the scenery.cfg, but simply wrong. It adds a thing called "VHHH needed" entry that basically contains the link to the actual scenery. It adds a "VHHH terrain" entry that correctly links to the "VHHH terrain" subfolder. But then it also adds the "Taxi2Gate VHHH v2 Hong Kong International Airport" entry that points to a folder where no scenery is located and this results in an error message when firing up v5.

Not a big deal, the second thing can be quickly resolved inside the scenery library menue of P3D, but come on, how difficult is it to do such things correct? And why again they do not use the add-on.xml method is just a miracle to me...
