Ah no they don't, only if you let it. Mine installed exactly where I told it to. Now the scenery.cfg entry however is a mistake for sure. April 24, 20206 yr Well that came out of nowhere! As great as it is to get an update, it doesn't look like it's using modern standards. While I understand personal issues caused the developer to take a break from working on sceneries, you have to wonder if they're back for a serious update of all of their products or just a few before disappearing again like last time. Edit: And just like that WF Scenery have announced their version of VHHH with better looking texturing. April 24, 20206 yr Maybe T2G heard that there's a new version being developed? Let's get them while we can, they thought. 😀 MSFS

April 24, 20206 yr Author As always, you wait for one for years and then two pop up! WFSS stated that they hope to release in August though. I'll probably just go ahead and get T2G's, given that I'll get 50% off anyway, and then switch to WFSS whenever theirs comes out. It looks quite a bit better to me, to be honest... My feeling is that T2G hasn't really upped their game, judging by the screenshots. They have stayed with the same style they had in 2017, which is starting to look a little old when comparing to the latest releases of the likes of OrbX, FT, FSDT, MKS, FSS, etc etc But, if I had to choose between an old-looking VHHH or no VHHH, I choose the latter! Not bad, but still I prefer the T2G version, at least as far as I can say looking at the screenshots. Edited April 24, 20206 yr by Rafal

But sadly already two big issues: - for whatever reason, they still use this simmarket installer nonsense putting the scenery inside the P3Dv5 main folder in the Ecosystem\Simmarket subfolders. - the installer makes a mess. It does add stuff to the scenery.cfg, but simply wrong. It adds a thing called "VHHH needed" entry that basically contains the link to the actual scenery. It adds a "VHHH terrain" entry that correctly links to the "VHHH terrain" subfolder. But then it also adds the "Taxi2Gate VHHH v2 Hong Kong International Airport" entry that points to a folder where no scenery is located and this results in an error message when firing up v5. Not a big deal, the second thing can be quickly resolved inside the scenery library menue of P3D, but come on, how difficult is it to do such things correct? And why again they do not use the add-on.xml method is just a miracle to me... Thanks for pointing this out, that way we'll be prepared when installing it. April 25, 20206 yr Just bought it from simmarket. Overall I am satisfied, but I am not seeing the new sky bridge that is advertised on the product page. I am only seeing the bridge shadow on the ground. Anyone has the same issue? Danny F
