My receipt from Paypal and Microsoft for Deluxe arrived today, also followup email from MS to let me know I could download/install from the 17th Aug

I wonder when/if Steam will have a pre-load period.
I cannot see anything on Steam about this - it only says release is on 18th...

What's the advantage of purchasing via Steam vs Microsoft store? Did I miss something? Same price, right?

Pre ordered on Steam via PayPal so money was taken on day of purchase (Aug 5th).

I have already downloaded the pre-order purchased on my MS account, available to install on my XBOX insider app, installed on my Samsung SSD D drive that had P3DV4 now removed, P3DV5 on my F drive Samsung SSD.

I'm optimistic. Guess every bigger Windows update that is installed on basically EVERY modern computer puts a much higher load on their servers.

With a few million company`s running on the AZURE Cloud platform 24/7, a few thousand flight simmers should be fine.

PS and windows update pushed out on the AZURE Cloud AI 24/7.

If people post who got charged by Microsoft, then AVSIM will sure break down on release day. 😉
