Guys. Do you also observe severe fps drop when FSUIPC is running?

Apparently everyone is complaining abut Frame rates dropping when FSUIPC7 is activated    THis Sim seems to have multi problems not thought of or resolved yet  Nice but difficult to run and I still don;t know where to put the Sim Conncect file  in with FSUIPC or someplace else

FSUIPC7 Beta doesn't really work yet. It does cause a massive decrease in framerates (50-60% decrease for me), I was just testing it out a few minutes ago. If it is running in your system tray - slideshow. If you exit FSUIPC, FPS go back to normal.

Either way, pretty sure the documentation states that you don't need the simconnect.dll in MSFS. I just unzipped it to a folder on my desktop and ran the .exe. In MSFS, I hit alt+f to pull up the menu.

MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition; Windows 11 Pro, I9-9900k; Asus Maximus XI Hero; Asus TUF RTX3080TI; 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR4 3600; 2X Samsung 1TB 970EVO; NZXT Kraken X63; Seasonic Prime PX-1000, LG 48" C1 Series OLED, Honeycomb Yoke & TQ, CH Rudder Pedals, Logitech G13 Gamepad

Just curious, what in FSUIPC causes it?

Thanks.

According to the FSUIPC website, the FPS drop is caused by the simconnect bug which hopefully will be fixed in the coming MSFS update.

Shame. I thought they've fixed it with this:

FSUIPC7 has been updated and no longer requires the SimConnect.dll. I have modified the installation instructions (above) accordingly.

Thanks.

FSUIPC7 no longer requires the SimConnect.dll, but it does still require SimConnect.

Hi Everyone,

I have created a folder "FSUIPC7" with both EXE. file and KEY. file my questions is around connecting it to the sim?

sorry, as my name highlights I'm a complete bandit!

could anyone recommend a good tutorial to get this and PACX up and running?

You are aware you must run the FSUIPC.exe every time you run the sim?

From the included README :

Issues
======
1. If you receive the following error when running FSUIPC7:
The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

Installed the FSUIPC7 for MSFS2020 but I don't see how to access to the FSUIPC7 console.

Any ideas?

Patricio Valdes

It’s now a stand alone executable. I keep it all separate on my MSFS nVME drive under F:\FSUIPC7. Once you run it, it is available in the System Tray (by the clock).

FSUIPC is supremely powerful and comprehensive, so I’d really advocate you spend a few hours with the documentation.

Also the default keystrokes ALT F will open the console.
