August 23, 20205 yr I'm very disappointed with 2 things..... 1. not optimized for AMD multicore cpu, intel had a 16fps advantage. I dont want to buy intel at this point, no way. limited to 10 core and not utilizing pci-e 4, not to mention not a good investment for anything BUT gaming. Their future roadmap doesnt show much hope either..... 2. the R5 3600x has the same fps result as the R9 3900x! what the h3ll is going on here! I'm hoping the AMD 4000 series chips will change these results for the better. Asobo lets get some AMD optimization going for this game, the new xbox will be using AMD cpu's. August 23, 20205 yr Not a lot of difference between a 2080ti and the 1080ti. I guess I expected there to be more. /Dave
August 23, 20205 yr "...the Microsoft Store version we used for testing relies on DirectX 12 — the game is also available on Steam, however, apparently with DX11 support." Surely this is not true !? Mark Volstad, ASUS X570-PLUS / Ryzen 3700X / 32GB DDR4 3600 / RTX 2070 SUPER / LG 27" 1440P

August 23, 20205 yr I really hope they can scale with more cores in the near future. I was expecting a little better performance in the low end, as the delta between hardware is small (which is good in a fashion) but when you’re dropping settings you’d hope to create a gulf rather than hit a cpu bottleneck so early.
August 23, 20205 yr I went with AMD because of all the hype on the internet and the intel bashing. Really disappointed right now, if I only listened to my gut I would have picked an i7 10700k, but went for the 3700X because people say "intel bad" all over the internet. Now I will be cpu limited for ever ... nice.

August 23, 20205 yr If you look at a lot of gaming benchmarks the 10600K looks the best bang for bucks in gaming at the moment. Raymond Fry.

Also your AMD will run cooler, consume less power , cost less money and will perform better in all multithreaded operation. So, no you didn't lose your money. https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.

I guess that means I can hang on to my 1080ti for a bit longer! Glad I upgraded to the 10900K though.
