Following on from my earlier post, can some kind person tell what folder/files I am placing into the Community folder? At present I have placed the "Asobo_A320_NEO" AirPlane into the Community folder and changed the name to "A32NX". Whaat next?

Wow, this is awesome! MFS is certainly off to a very very impressive start. It's been about a week after release and we are seeing a lot of great progress from the community. I can only imagine what the sim will be like by the end of this year! We can very much thank Asobo/MS for the outstanding and solid framework that they have provided us to build upon. With that and hopefully an equally solid SDK, I believe that this sim can achieve some incredible things.

Since this is possible, I hope to see more default planes given this treatment. Thanks for sharing this!

He said someone is even developing an MMO in MSFS

An MMO? Seriously? Wow, now that is bizarre. I mean good luck to them in pulling it off, but it's bonkers.

Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

this is superb, i hope they fix the way the PFD stays on 'rollout' mode when you need to do a turnaround flight.

Are we sure he wasn’t just talking about fse?

Greetings.

I need some help with this 'Community' folder. I did not create anything myself and I installed MS2020 into separate SDD. I don't see Community folder in this location as many of people does here: USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_RANDOMLETTERS\LocalCache\Packages\Community. I don't see this particular path at all: Microsoft.FlightSimulator_RANDOMLETTERS. I found Community folder in this location: USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_xxx\LocalCache\Packages\Community.I wonder if that a matter or not.

I tried to drop A320 Improvement mode in to this folder I was asked if I want to override some files with the same names. IS that normal?

Thanks for looking.

Here is some work being done on 172...

Ahh this is a dream! Asobo didn’t confirm this would even be possible at the last Q&A - said they wouldn’t rule it out but not something they even thought of! Can’t wait for projects like this to come out.

If you installed in a separate ssd, your community folder is there, not in app data

Hi Edward,

In the community folder there shouldn't be any folders/files with the same name unless you already installed it before.

There's only one community folder i believe. In mine i have the mod (A32NX) and the liveries folder ..

skysurfer, join Discord, for all activity re Git hub. You should not update/override files...

Here's my community path on a separate SSD.. it's all very strange the install paths!!

Should just be in the actual folder where you installed the game. Along with the folder full of Asobo content, forget what they named that one, not at my pc atm

Thanks for the reply. I don't have Microsoft.FlightSimulator_KEYLETTERS section in Packages. I have kind of same as yours but instead of Microsoft.FlightSimulator_KEYLETTERS I have \Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_xxx\LocalCache\Packages\Community

I have files in that Community folder from ORBX and DD design sceneries only.

This message pops up when I drop A320 mode folder into Community folder:
